wow for the last couple of months my trips have been horrible! i just blazed up about an hour ago and i feel like shit. its always the same trip over and over. It all started 3 months ago i was at a friends and we had smoked 5 bowls or so so i was nice an high but for some reason we kept going. i lost count after the 7 bowl. But i remember we ran out of weed so now i had time to sit and experience my high. it turned weird after 5 mins of not smoking. my whole body be began to pulse and tingle in a very uncomfortable way. and at this point it got beyond weird. i had watched a video on root canal surgery at the dentist a week ago. i had an interest in want to being a dentist after that and i watched a bunch of videos on it after a while. but some how this ended up in my high in a odd way. i couldn't feel one of my teeth it i even moved my tongue over it and it felt like it wasn't there. the second i did that it felt like i was sucked into hole were my tooth was and i was in some sort of blood bath. i could feel the blood in my mouth. but it was just saliva. and after i regained continuousness but then it started up again the tingling feeling and it repeated it self. i was scared and my friends said that i was sitting there with my finger in my mouth drooling for an hour. so now 3 months later i still feel the same way after getting high. i have tried to out think it but i can get rid of the feeling i can numb it abit but it doesn't really help. any ideas on how to fix it ? Will this effect me on shrooms?

I know exactly what your talking about (I think). I haven't had the thing with the hole in the teeth, but similar things. For me these happened because I took a tolerance break and I just smoked too much and got really high the first few times. I think this just put a bad view of weed in my head so those feelings/thoughts kept coming back every time I smoked. Earlier tonight I thought about just smoking a really small amount and it is working, and I feel just as high too. Maybe it won't work for you, but just smoke about 1/3 of what you'd normally smoke and see if you haven't already.

That's really weird. Marijuana doesn't effect me in this way at all, even if I smoke a ton. In fact MJ doesn't really do much to me at all, it's almost like I have built up a tolerance but I don't even smoke that much. I remember smoking a joint, a fat blunt, and then a couple bowls all within an hour and I just felt kinda chill. I could drive, talk, work, everything. Sorry, I know this isn't really helping you out and I kinda went off track...
All I can say is maybe slow it down some, don't smoke as much and try some different types of weed. Don't do it if it's not making you comfortable. If you are on shrooms I wouldn't smoke if this is happening because it might ruin your trip and make you paranoid.

This seems to happen to some people with marijuana use. I have had friends who enjoyed it for years only to have such symptoms manifest and occur repeatedly upon use. For them the only resolution they found was to discontinue marijuana use.
I have always been of the opinion that dysphoric effects following marijuana consumption are wholly rooted in anxiety. I've had negative marijuana experiences similar to what most people who abandon it describe. I just have to relax myself and get around the negative aspects as I would during any other negative psychedelic experience.
I'd say mushrooms should not manifest such symptoms. There really is no reason for it unless you go into the experience somehow expecting a negative reaction. You should be fine and if not perhaps look up some simple thought exercises to help deal with anxiety as I assure you that is what is at issue here.
Failing all else there are pharmaceutical solutions to acute anxiety.

Wow. I wish weed affected me that much. Just maybe not in that particular way. I have "tasted blood" before when it was just my drool, though. It didn't bother me once I checked to see my spit was clear.

first I would not smoke so much weed. You're going to have some strange effects when you smoke so many bowls one after another.
Quote:

You're just too high. That's it. But now you may have resurfacing memories/experiences of this experience when you smoke weed again. You might have to train yourself to think good thoughts. Make sure you're in a confortable enviroment. For me a really important thing is to make sure it's not too cold. Not too hot either, and personally I really appreciate a smoke free environment. Too many noises can really mess with your head when your smoking weed and stress you out.
In high doses marijuana acts as a hallucinogen, and can really send you into serious day dreams, especially if you're a day dreamy person like I am.
Make sure you're not too stressed out. Stress can cause bad thoughts to surface in people. Watching something that involves dentistry can really cause people to have some serious bad thoughts/imaginations even when sober.
I don't know what kind of weed you smoke, but try getting a hold of some pure bred sativa, or something close. Indica can really mess with some peoples heads from what I understand.
I don't know if this happens to you, but If your body or your face feels numb, you are way too high.

Who smokes so much and watches a video about root canals? Moderation is key 1-2 bowls and root canal video might've been better. Get some good entertainment. It's weed if you have a bad experience, then get off the pipe!

That sure is a lot, but it affects everyone differently. I have smoked a full gram and a half of really dank stuff without terrible consequences. I did feel a very similar numb feeling, but I tried to accept it, and make it enjoyable. I just layed down (which was about all I could do) and listened to some relaxing music. Interestingly, that was the most relaxed I have ever been. It was really bizarre because I didn't have any of the normal paranoia or anxiety, it was really paradoxical because of how much I did. Just don't go too crazy, and don't watch anything medical.

Dude about the "whole body began to pulse" I experienced that once my third time smoking (it was 1g of some kind of weed)and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Was it like all over your body were pulsating bumps that moved counter-clockwise? and if you touch them they kinda explode. So like if you were eating something whenever food touched the inside of your mouth you could totally feel it on that spot?
I only achieved that once and I wish I could again. It was fun cuz my head was perfectly sober, just really weird body high

its really all about how you feel before you smoke. and this will all be amplified when you're high. some anxiety is going to remain, but it will be amplified. I'm definitely this type of smoker where I have to think about where i am and how i'm feeling. marijuana for me, isn't an anti-anxiety drug. its a very sensitive drug as far as anxiety goes, like most psychedelics. I've been there man, and it still happens every now and then, but I still smoke because I like the way I feel besides that whole part (which really is a godawful feeling).
don't smoke as much. think before you smoke. don't be afraid to decline a bowl pass if you've had too much. if this still occurs, take a week or so break. if this still occurs..
grow a strain just for you
