Well, i got home 6:30 p,m. and immediately began to prep my jiffy mix. at 8 p.m. i started to boil my 7 quart jars of jiffy in my pressure cooker. once it hit boiling i let it boil on high for a couple minutes then dropped the temp to med for 15 minutes then i went high for 2 min then turned off and let it sit .. its now midnight and i can now touch the jars but there still pretty darn warm probably too warm to make my casings tonight!!!! \
the jars are still in my pc with lid on and i put the weight on it now to prevent air getting in the pc... will i be okay if i leave the jars till tommorrow around 7 pm or am i screwed??? my rye jars are fully colonized and i am worried of it solidifying .. there a week old on wednesday. thanks

should be alright. I suppose you could put the colonized rye in the refrigerator to halt growth untill you're ready to case. However, this probably isn't needed. Maybe just give them a shake so they have something to do untill you're ready.

My friend has left fully colonized popcorn jars in the closet so long that they developed fully grown, but soggy, totally translucent "cave" mushrooms in the grain. Still had no problems using the jars.

what about my casing jars... last night i took 6 quart jars and put my field capacity jiffy mix in them put the lid/ring on loose, then aluminum foil just like doing rye jars... i placed them into my pc and filled half way up the jars with water put lid on and boiled for 5 minutes then i turned down to medium and let that go for 15 minutes then turned up high for a few and then turned off... except i left the jars in the pc and they did not cool off in time... so i left them in the pc with the lid on... i am worried that i will not be able to use the casing mix now... do i have to make a new batch now? or do i go ahead and reboil the jars again but this time go ahead and take the jars out the pc to let them cool off ?

The casing should be fine too, maybe sterile (the idea is to pasteurize), but you should have no problems. No need to boil again.

I am confused did you PC at 15 PSI or did you boil??
If you sterilized them then the only thing you have to worry about your casings is they may start drying out a bit. Leave your casing jars sealed in a dry clean box somewhere until you need to case. If they are too dry you should mist the casing when you case your substrate. Your over worrying. I would spawn some pasteurized horse poo for two weeks firstwith your rye berries, then case, and mist.
