since there have been many artists, who used a lot of acid, e.g. syd barrett, jim morrison, jimi hendrix, etc., i wondered if there were any famous artists, musicians in particular, who are known for using mushrooms on a regular basis do you know any? apart from maybe terence mckenna?

I think the 311 guys like to trip. Radiohead I think? Not sure though.
Eminem I know for sure loves mushrooms. Actually I think he has a giant shroom tattoo on his arm. I dont think he does drugs anymore though.

early incubus. (i.e. fungus amongus).
i mean, with a song called psychopsilocybin, one would have to be fairly daft to not draw this conclusion.

Hendrix, Morrison, The beatles, Floyd, - they all did mushrooms.
Alice in chains definetly
Pantera - listen to the lyrics to "Psycho holiday"
Megadeth - listen to "my secret place"
--------------------
"There is a world beyond ours, a world that is far away, nearby, and invisible. And there is where God lives, where the dead live, the spirits and the saints, a world where everything has already happened and everything is known. That world talks. It has a language of its own. I report what it says. The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known. It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way I can understand."
 Maria Sabina
