This was/is a major problem for me too. My AC is in the living room and its a 1 bedroom AC. If i turn it on and let it go 24 hours it only cools the living room and the rest of the house, leaving my grow room hot. Ice packs are a **MAJOR** pain in the ass. They cool your terr down way too much and lower rH, they also need changing every 8 hours
Anyone with ideas, would help 2 people Fd

Personally, I can't wait for winter.
A/C is costing me a fortune (it would with or without shrooms)
In the winter I'll use heating pads under my perlite bottomed tubs that contain my casings and save money on heating the apartment while providing my shrooms a suitable environment.
I like to keep my personal space at 62-68F!!
Best I get in the summer is 71F (at the lowest) which is fine for my little friends to fruit..
Thank God for A/C!! I can grow year-round! and stay comfortable.:)
Nyah Nyah!
BUY AN A/C!!!!

I have a way but it's kinda complicated. How big is your terr and how are you providing it with air and humidity?

There was a thread awhile back where we talked about using a 12volt cooler available at wal mart, putting a kaz humidifier inside of it and cutting a hole in the cooler for the hose to go to the terrarium. You could use a 12 volt adapter plugged into the wall to power it, or get a deep cycle 12 volt battery and a small solar panel. Of course you would have to seal around the hole in the cooler where the hose comes through.

ure screwd lol! nah good luck, ive found you might have to go with a strain that doesnt mind heat. lipa yais are good for this they have no problems, but thats with me, they are comfy at 80 to 83. that ive seen with workin with strains and heat, ive learned fl strains do not care for any temps above 78, they start knarling up, and take on mutant looks.
