With Ideal conditions is there any need to mist casings even when dry?

I have the wonderful Martha Stewart portable closet set up and things are going quite nicely. I am a noob so my first test casing took a little while for myc to poke out but is now fruiting nicely. The length of time allowed the casing to dry out a little, however (starting to turn a lighter shade of brown). I have a pretty dope Ultrasonic humidifier attached to humidity controller so it keeps the levels at around 90% 24/7 inside the chamber. If I up it to 100% in there will there be any need for me to mist the casing. I'm seeing so many mixed views about misting casings that I'm not sure what to believe and would like to avoid it if I can.

Yes, mist, don't let it dry out too fast, or at all really.
You want transpiration to trigger pins, which cannot occur without water and FAE.
Better mist with 90% RH, than not with 100%, especially if your casing is drying out.
You want it in a state of perpetual moisture, yet also perpetual transpiration, at least during pinning.
After the pins have set, transpiration aids in fruit development, hence the need for FAE( frequent air exchange).

Ok great thanx Cap. What technique should I use to mist if there is myc already poking out nicely as well as about 25 small fruitbodies (pins right) I always leave a window in the side of my casing and the moisture down below looks great. (not sure if that matters)

As for the FAE I unzip and fan the chamber about twice a day but I should prolly have a small fan going 24/7?

haha one more quick question I have a hose that I can pull inside the chamber directly that is attached to my ultra sonic. Can I use that to mist if I let it run on top of the casing for a little while or should I just get a spray bottle and spray about 20 cm above the casing?

Well, don't mist fruits, only bare casing, not yet 100% colonized.
Read my Casing Tek, as well as as many other casing teks you can find.

No need for a small fan, though some use it, fanning twice is good, three times maybe better.
My foaf uses different sized holes in his FC to allow for slow, continuous air exchange, works for him with no fanning at all.

Seems like you are well on your way, research the posts for casing teks, while they are all about the same, you will find differences that may appeal to you.
