Crazy shit

anything grateful dead, waking life (wonder why no ones mentioned that one yet), Koyaanisqatsi by francis ford coppola (you will probably watch at least some of this film if you take/have taken film class.
and of course animations ... which i haven't delved that far into, but cowboy bebop is pretty cool, afro samurai and anything to do with ninjas/samurai is pretty kickass. i'd like some more recommendations for the ninja/samurai movies/animations.

I love watching the Dead Movie while tripping, its a common occurence in my circle of friends. New Years eve at Winterland isn't bad either, but if it's a straight concert you want i have this awesome bootleg DVD of the dead live in Denmark at "Tivolis Koncertsal" which is great to watch tripping. Never seen Truckin up to Bufalo or one from the vault though.
Waking Life is great too, i've seen that and the director's more popular film Scanner Darkly while tripping and they're both great. Waking Life is a lot more philosophical though and will get you thinking on these CRAZY tangents when trippin.

i love fantastic planet. One of my favorite soundtracks of all-time, if not my very favorite! another trippy movie to check out is called "The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb"
It's a stop-motion vid, with clay and real characters mixed... very unique look.
another series of videos that are even farther out there - the Cremaster Cycle.

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

I don't know... whenever I sit down and watch a movie while tripping my trip isn't intense at all.
One time I went into my sister's room tripping balls but I was acting fine and I stayed there and watched a movie with her, "Thirteen," but it really wasn't that great to watch while tripping so I left and went back to my room where everything was floating around me. Very weird experience

I saw Ocean Planet a few months ago and felt like I was swimming underwater for 2 hours.
Another one that I was recently treated to is Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage. That one is full of intense images under the influence.
