I had heard a lot about this movie, wasn't all that impressed when I saw it... some parts were cool but others just didn't sit well with me.
+1 to Natural Born Killers (not sure if I could handle/want to watch it tripping) +1 to nature shows +1 to the Yellow Submarine

Aye to that! It controlled my mind for all (75 minutes, they say!?) on an amazing mushroom trip last week. Unbelievably obvious connotations throughout the whole flick, right down to the very end.
Also a very obvious good trip flick is Fear and Loathing, of course. It's greatest on a high ride, methinks. I saw it on one hit of good acid at a local cult-flick movie theater on Hunter S. Thompson's 70th birthday. It was perhaps one of the greatest situations for a trip ever. Needless to say, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a whole new movie on a good trip.
I haven't tired it yet, but I imagine that The Matrix is a great trip movie, if you can get a trip that let's you sit down and listen to a slower-at-the-start movie.

Damn this clip is crazy...
I've never watched movies on a trip... but I want to try Alice in Wonderland... Should be a new experience

It's a bit dated, but Videodrome is a force to be reckoned with.
Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!
I don't think James Woods likes to admit that he was in it, now that he's a "real" actor.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086541/ http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Videodrome/1093793?trkid=189530&strkid=1809279959_0_0
Also by David Cronenberg and in the same vein, Naked Lunch is pretty good.

^ wow thats impressive..
you should check out Baraka. it's like a documentary whithout words about nature and mankind. whatever way i'd try to describe it, it wouldn't do it justice, its amazing.
and you don't even have to be tripping while watching it to have a mindblowing experience.

Fear and Loathing was a much better book than movie, but the movie was funny. I don't know why anyone would want to waste a trip watching that depressing shit. Natural Born Killers? Stupid movie stoned, not stoned, etc.. Go outside!

Alice in Wonderland and Yellow Submarine are great too. These movies are great when really stoned, but when im tripping i really only watch television on the come down.

I agree with ya on that one. I find that during most of my trip I have lots of energy along with a short attention span, so watching an entire movie is out of the question. Once the trip is trailing off I relax by watching tv for a while

Anyone know the name of the song with 2:50 remaining in the Fantastic Planet clip? I SWEAR I've heard it used in some sort of rap song (Wu-Tang maybe?)

Another good movie is "Lammbock"! It's a German production and really awesome I don't think it's available in English but you'd watch if you understand some German

I liked watching the movie "Breaking" on shrooms
It has a good message, it's from the 80's, and the way they dance is just unreal when you're tripping. Definitely calls for a good time.
I still have yet to see alice in wonderland ever, so my first time will be on shrooms, and I can't wait.
