Target, Walmart, Kmart, they're ALL out of canning jars because everyone is canning vegetables right now. Gahh!!!! Not to mention it's hard to find a decent pressure cooker in any store. >:(

I agree internet is where to go. If you dont have patience how can you wait for that first flush? Unless of course you already have what you need(accept for a pc and jars of course) in wich case I would be pissed to.

patience is key in this hobby but I felt the same when I ordered a lot of shit online for my first grow last year I bought a cheapo presto PC that will hold 3 quarts or 6 pint jars kind of a bitch but it does the job and I'm too poor to get a better one
good luck

It's not that I don't have patience, it's more like this needs to get started within a certain time frame. Buying JARS over the net seems so lame. Sigh. Will check ace hardware tomorrow.

Try Value village and other thrift stores. I've been in the cheap furniture market and been hitting up the local thrift shops lately and I always see a tone of canning jars, and they are dirt cheap!
