Well its been 1 week 3 days now for 2 of my cakes and there still just sitting there growing fuzzy white on them. I cracked the lid to lower the humidity and they have still done nothing. They get about 30 min to an hour every day of light and the temperature is always 65-72. B+ strain that i bought from a reliable source. Why do i suck at life?

You are not even close to optimal conditions. You made it worse by lowering humidity. Raise your humidity to 99%, give 12/12 fluorescent light, and three to four air exchanges per hour. How long after full colonization did you wait before birthing? Did you roll in dry verm after the dunk? RR

My hydrometer says 99% (i did the salt in water humidity test and it came out to 82% so its 7 above true RH). I thought you didnt want your humidity as high as it could go? im confused. yes i rolled in dry verm after dunk. I birthed when the cake a day or two after full colonization. As far as the 12/12 lighting thats hard to do, im in and out during the day and at night i dont need the light on in the closet to raise suspitions. As far as the air exchanges thats a lot per hour i usually get about 6 in during the day. I only have 2 2/3 cakes in my terrarium (it could hold 12), the other cake i cased and is in a seperate set up (i think its starting to pin).

Thats not optimal conditions.
I thought all they need to trigger fruiting was a minimum of a few minutes a day? if thats so then I'm giving them a minimum of 10 times the minimum. Thanks for getting technical on my ass, ill rephrase my post. "Sad my cakes wont pin and i have conditions exceeding what is required for fruiting."

yea man I have like 6 large casings all waiting to pin and its going on 2 weeks now...this is my second grow I just want the damn things to pin! I have all optimal conditions EXCEPT temperature when I leave during the day my apt sometimes gets up to 88ish degrees (fucking warm October weather) I've read that high temps may stall pinning....I'm going to try and use a few frozen water bottles and see what happens

I didn't notice that the first time. You should wait one full week after full colonization before birthing. This allows the mycelium to consolidate its hold on the mycelium. They will rarely pin during that first week anyway, so keeping them in the jars keeps them in the high CO2 environment, where they also lose less moisture to evaporation.
Yours should be fruiting soon hopefully.

They need 12/12 to trigger pins then about an hour or 2 so they know which way to grow.
Just like RR and the rest said 99% RH always multiple FAE's a day.
One time it took a month for a couple of my cakes to fruit. Some just take longer than others.
They will fruit!

They don't NEED 12/12 light, but that is optimal .
You should give them at least "several hours" of light everyday.
