Simpsons got a good 9 seasons in before it started to go down hill... and even then, they held their own for a good while after that.

It's not that they ran out of ideas though. They have plenty of great ideas, it's just they've completely ruined their method of comedy.

i love family guy, and i agree. they should have waited a few more seasons at least to do a movie. i mildly enjoyed it none the less.
i laughed my ass off watching the star wars season premier, however last night wasnt as good. it had its moments. i hope the rest of the season gets better.

it was better than many of the last seasons had been; in fact, I enjoyed most of it up to the last 30 minutes or so

Look how long it took "the crowd" to realize that Bush is not a healthy choice for the country.
Denial is a powerful thing, and most of the american public relies on it for stability.
There's a certain "curve" if you will... a certain crescendo that must be reached before the crowd-followers will unanimously shift their opinions on any given subject.
Family Guy is one such subject.
You just had to bring on the whole politics and generalize americans in one post, classy.

It couldn't possibly be that everyone's perception and taste is different...no of course not. It's great you have an opinion, but it doesn't make it a fact.

I'm glad someone agrees with me. I've watched the three episodes of the most recent family guy and I can't even remember giggling once (maybe once in the Star Wars parody, but that's it). It's a shame too because I remember at times I would roll on the floor laughing at some of the earlier seasons.

Family Guy is still funny, but I can agree the last few episodes werent like the classics. That anne frank shit is an example of how they have fallen off the cliff of shock/funny that they have always used to make everyone laugh. Sunday's episode wasnt great, but they will make more funny shows. If you think you can do better, write a show. cunts.
