Is it ok to use WRF instead of BRF? Is there a difference in nutes?

Most nutes are in the brown part. As I understand it white rice flour is quite inferior to brown rice flour.
I read somewhere that if you can't get brown rice flour, rye flour can substitute for PF cakes, if thats what you're after. If your health food store hasnt got BRF, its bound to have rye flour for cheap.

If you can't find the BRF, just get some brown rice and then grind it up in a coffee grinder. That's what I did and it worked great for my cakes. At first, I did't have the coffee grinder but just a blender. The blender did ok, but the coffee grinder was able to get it just a little finer. Either will work. You can get a small inexpensive coffee grinder from WalMart for about $15. Good luck

Rye flour seems to be working better than brown rice flour for me, and it's real cheap here, much less than BRF

I think you need to pressure cook if using rye flour.
Yes i read that white flour produced mushrooms but with no magic properties
