About 4 days ago, i did triple c's with some friends. The brand we used was coricidin cough and cold. I took ten. Is it possible that they could cause liver or kidney failure? I have a friend who used to do them all the time, and he's fine.

I'm glad you have figured out they aren't something to trip on. Perhaps to get rid of colds, but I probably wouldn't use them even then.
It's proven that DXM (and probably other dissociative drugs) mess up the part of the brain that understands metaphors.

:edit: perhaps to say that it is "proven" was a wrong choice of wording.. but still.. it's hard to read that and still feel good about taking dissociatives

yeah CCC's have medications in them to alter your blood pressure and other things, they can be extreemely dangerous in large quantities.

A good friend of mine used to eat a box of those (16 pills) at a time on a semi-weekly basis.
The kid now has to piss every 20-30 minutes or so, can force himself to piss on command, and had the most horrible kidney problems for about a month after he cut that shit out that I have ever seen anyone experience in my life. He stuck it out without seeing a physician for a few weeks, and when he finally did, the doc laughed at him and said he found nothing wrong.
Moral of the story, don't pop otc medications to cop a buzz - you will regret it later on down the road.
