Eh... there's a lot of potential for middle-of-the-road injury without death there.

All those branches on the way down make for a mean beating, but not much death...

I've been feeling like this too. Maybe its my age

Lately I've found myself committing a lot more crimes.. casual crimes though. I've been chased a fair bit.. and I also find myself not taking shit off of people any more..

Also, the more I watch fight club, the more I want to blow up society. (along with recent anarchistic activities, like arson, vandalism and defacement )

Make sure your death defying hobby doesn't include innocent people on the roads.

Hey man, go for rock climbing!

I just got into it this summer along with my brother and its a nice rush when you look down and see how far youve climbed up, and even better when you reach the top of the rock.

As far as the danger in it..yeah it can be dangerous if you decide to free climb with no rope. Or if youre anchoring yourself as you go up- if you slip you can fall about 5 feet and that can scare you.

But yeah man, rock climbing is great. It makes you test your fear and strength, AND ive met some pretty horny hotties that are into it. What more could you ask for?

I did that too, but I didn't have to run far, I just disappeared into the woods using my stealth skills.

you say you want to be close to death, but then mention hobbies which are quite safe

try street luging down roads that aren't closed off(perhaps at night to minimize risk of cars)
freehand rock climbing

you can't fool yourself into thinking you're close to death

sure your senses may tell you you're falling at free-fall speed to the ground, but your mind knows you have a couple parachutes to save you
