thats fucked up, maybe noone lives in raleigh and doesnt know what shit is there. try a book. Mushrooms grow in horse shit too. why not try there. take pictures of what you find and people can identify them for you. i live in greensboro and havent found anything good yet, ill keep trying though

Aminita Muscaria grows pretty bountiful in that area, but not usually until late summer early fall. Don't eat too many, they'll kill you.
