Thanks guys, I must say that I'm having fun hunting so far. That was all we could find before it got a bit too dark to see. I think we're going to go back up again, if we do I'll get some photos of the location, sheep everywhere, hundreds of the damn things!

Luck was with you. Once you have a good ID on the little fellas they sprout out everywhere. Off out again in an hour.

270 makes me a happy bunny,,
I found my first blue one too. The scenery around that area's just awesome, i never really knew what that part of Yorkshire was like having never been there until recently. The colours across the valley were amazing.
Hope you did well yourself,,

Went back up today and found another half ounce or so of libs. Got spooked by a couple of farmers, but they didn't seem to mind we were there, they were more interested in rounding up their sheep.
No pictures though unfortunately, lost the usb cable for the camera.
And yeah mikeyyork, the north york moors have some pretty nice views.

Haha, yeah. One flew by us too, all this was worsened by the fact that we smoke a few fatties before going up. I would not recommend weed before doing something illegal. Talk about paranoia!

Going to give it a couple days and see if the weather gets wetter to bring the little fellas out again. There's still to be found around the reed but not so much on the grassy areas. Dogs going for another walk tomorrow to see how things are looking. On the other hand the valley had lots field mushrooms growing for my breakfast and had my first puffball yesterday so there's always something to nibble while we wait for the next spurt.
