    #7493737 - 10/07/07 08:26 AM (16 years, 3 months ago)

cool my other ones are fully colonized and i just dunked them, question

are you suppose to put cakes in the chamber the same way you colonize them or do you flip them over and fruit them the opposite way you colonized them?

Correct. This gives you a place to fill with vermiculite, which you can then pour water into in order to keep the cake hydrated during the flush. They'll fruit either way, but divot side up gives a nice moisture reservoir, to counter the small size of the cakes which often limits fruit size.
