I always have just used a plunger. Actually if anything, after plunging a few pounds worth down the drain (granted, some work), my drain works far better than it did.

Yes, this is old. I didnt want to waste space by startig a new thread. I have the same problem (my 10 yr old decided it was too hard to clean the cage outside or pick up the seed out of the tub before rinsing it down the drain) and I didn't see a solution to this one. Any advice is appreciated. Thx in advance.

Ever heard of a drain snake? Drano and plungers already been mentioned in this thread. But I love snakes.

Definitely snake it. You don't want to use a bladder on a hose or a plunger as the p trap under the tub is a fragile thing.

Yeah no plunger for sure. I got me a saw toothed rip cord like thing that works like a snake but better. Instead of pulling everything up, it cuts it up in the drain and lets if flow down. Its saved my tub a few times from nasty stuff like straw.

Wait.. wait... Is this a totally non-cultivation related question?
This is about bird seed that's actually used for feeding birds?

Did you even register to a forum relevant to your interests to ask this question?
