LSD - increased senses and taste and adrenaline

Ok hopefully this will be an easy question to answer.
Im sure most of you are aware of the LSD "taste" that weird taste that seems to float on your tongue about an hour or two after you dose. I'm also sure at least some of you have noticed that you can hear things loudly that are actually quiet, and can see things in much finer detail.
So my hypothesis is that perhaps when you start tripping it kinda freaks you out and starts the adrenaline pumping. Perhaps that taste isnt a result of LSD somehow directly but its adrenaline. I can't verify this as I havent actually been freaked out enough to taste adrenaline in a long long time so any memory i have I fear is courupted by what I "want" it to be. Also maybe the ability to hear really quiet noises and see extreme detail (just before it starts melting and twisting and dancing and forming complex patterns) is a result of the adrenaline as well.
This is only an idea I had the other day while tripping and I havent been able to let go nor do I have a way to test it really so I'm just throwing it out there to see if it makes sense with anyone else or to see if anyone can shoot some obvious holes in it that I am missing. All feed back is appreciated, thanks!

My adrenaline got to flowing just a few days ago helping out a buddy who wrecked his motor cycle. No taste for me. Me and adrenalin are old friends and I don't ever recall a taste. Back and kidney pain for some reason? Taste no.

Psychedelic experience has little if anything to do with adrenaline... I've had a few big adrenaline rushes in my life and though I'll admit it was pretty trippy, it wasn't a trip in any sense of the word.

I didn't mean adrenaline had much of anything to do with the trip itself. Just maybe explain the taste and a little of the increased initial awareness of quiet sounds/detail. My reasoning is that most of the time tripping is a pretty intense experience so your body might be trying to get you ready for anything thinking its possibly in more danger than it really is (assuming you've chosen a good setting).

you can see more detail, because more visual frames are bufferend in mind. (signals naturally fade mroe slowly from the mind on psychedelics)
if you want you can still see all 360 degrees after you turn your head while peaking.
I think there is something like an internal adrenalin response especially after a few encounters with unfamiliar sensations; but also lsd has some simmilarity to lysergic abortifacients and vasoconstrictors, so I would not be surprised to hear about muscle contractions: - I often get some crampiness in legs from these things sometimes. but that also happens if I just stand at an easel all day without lsd, and often an lsd day is a painting day for me.
