Any of you guys have a salvia breakthrough in the wilderness?
    #7491827 - 10/06/07 03:43 PM (16 years, 3 months ago)

After reading so many posts about people feeling like they're stuck inside inanimate objects such as walls, beds, etc., I was wondering if any of you guys have had breakthroughs in wilderness, and what it was like?

I remember reading a post a while back about a guy tripping underneath the stars one night. He said he met an alien entity but it was ruined by some girl yappin her moufff.

I've been wondering this myself. Im sure lots of people have done it, lets just wait and see what they have to say!

I smoked during a sunset one evening with a friend in a vacant schoolyard, upon a small hill covered in pine trees.

The effect came on instantly and I didn't really get the size hit I had intended, but it knocked me back onto my back looking straight up as if I was projected into a portal/vortex into the sky.
There were jagged black semi-transparent triangles entering from the outer region of my vision towards the center, and i could definatley feel the essence of the trees surrounding, if you could feel what it is to be a pine tree thats what it was, at least in that moment.
I felt sensations that werent smell nor touch but some phantom of both related to pine sap and needles.
I think I was saying "im completely spikey" to my friend.
I then felt I had to get up and move, I stumbled about and tried to say something to my friend while grabbing his arm, but I cant remeber what it was, the effect faded as quickly as it came.
very timeless overall feeling tho.

I've taken salvia many times in natural settings.  I quite enjoy the experience.

Though once broken through, the duality of in vs. out seems to disappear and all that remains is the scenery of salvia's magical world.

I find natural settings help the come down and integration more than the trip itself.  I like being able to look at trees when returning to my body.  Its comforting.

i did salvia outdoors at our campsite during the last michigan shroomery gathering....

i fell through pockets of time, kinda hard to explain, but the breakthrough wasn't near what it ahs been inside, although i don't think i did as much either...

Indeed, in a forest.
Similar to this -

Heres the report -

Quote:

Today I had a huge breakthrough on Salvia.

My 3rd real trip on anything.
Normal Salvia, dried.

I was with 3 friends of mine, one who has done it, one who hasnt.

I cant remember much.
It was a level 5-6 on the salvia scale.

Heres my friends account.

You started smoking, had two hits and looked cheery, you then said to 'D' "Im going now" smiling.
Then you hit a fresh full pipe and inhaled the whole thing in one go.
Then said our names and looked around, and tried to shake 'D's hand.

You looked really fucked and started with the "im going, im going"
You put your hand out to 'D', and said "Touch"

Then you fell forward and I put my hand out to stop you from falling. Your eyes rolled backward and you closed them.
Then we put you on the floor with your legs straight, you were grinning.
Then you mumbled stuff and 'D' asked if you knew who you were.

You said "Im nics[me] personality" and said "Hes here with me" looking behind 'D'.
'D' said "He can come and sit with us", then after a while you looked like you were coming out of it and you were saying "I'm back, im back 'D'"

Then you leant forward and hugged 'D's legs and started crying, then you looked at me grinning with red watery eyes, you were shouting "Im back, oh god im back, at last im back!"

Then sat a bit, then stood up and walked around a little going "what the fuck, jesus, that was . . , fucking hell . ." etc

--------------------------

After that i was walking about trying to figure everything out.

Heres my account -

'D' went first, tripped a bit, cant remember much.

Then 'A', the guy who wrote that stuff above tried some for the first time but it didnt do much really, he doesnt really smoke so it was hard for him to inhale.

I had 2 hits on one full pipe.
Then instantly i felt pre trip perception changes and so forth, a buzz.

Then i lost control, I fulled another pipe to the brim, I was trying to tell my friends that i shouldnt do this, but something took control and said "Im going now" while smiling for irony.

Then i dont remember much.
I looked at the trees in the forest and they turned into a huge flashing sign, like a vegas thing, but they didnt say anything.
Everything else had gone and i could only see that.
Then i saw me by a river, then i think i saw the huge sign again and i said "I have a message from Nic[me], Im coming back"
This was halfway through, then i went back into it and saw the river again, and an old man who was me, with my family in a canoe on the river. I was old, and I had lived there for 60 years!

Then i remember saying, im back. i cant remember much.
I had lived in that dream state for 60 years.
So when i came back i was amazed i saw my friends, young. Wondering what was going on with me.
Then i realised i just tripped and stood up.
Afterwards everything seemed new, i said "I need a fucking cigarette, i havent had one for 60 years"

Yes but when you live in a rural area tripping in the woods is more ordinary I guess than if you don't spend some time in nature nearly everyday anyway.

With a salvia breakthrough more especially than with other substances or levels, it doesn't really matter where I trip. I find myself in sally land and it has little to do with my actual surroundings until I start coming down.

We did have an instance once where one of my friends grabbed onto another and held on. Turned out he was convinced the friend was a tree and he was holding onto 'it' to keep from falling. I think the only reason I even remember that though was because the friend hanging on is legaly blind and he was hanging on to another friend who was dressed in camo thinking he really was a tree. That made it all rather funny.

Thats kind of what its like for me, and its amazing and you cant help but to feel the most pure human archetypes as they interact with nature and the external "archetypes".
Food and sex....lol
The rules and confines of our reality become so clear because we may see what reality is really made of.

A very still forest at sunset was amazing(my fav). So little distraction, and the experience was pretty much unspeakable.
I understood why some people feel entities found within what you could almost consider to be the alchemical symbiotic relationship between the human mind and plants.
Quids and packed bowls were in full session during that sundance.

Its a great place to be no matter how you experience it.
Id like to think that at times I have sort of become the plant.
Closer to the roots of existance, and almost entirely seperate of self, and humanity.

That outdoor experience opened a few doors, and those doors are hard to explain.
I felt like the universe and mainly the closer plants surrounding were communicating/interacting with me in some really strange ways.
Its hard to "text" about.
The tactile visuals also had alot to do with whatever I was experiencing. It was all metaphores within metaphores etc.
Reflections of reflections.

Yes- salvia outdoors, away from structures and vehicles and televisions and the like can produce some amazingly transcendent experiences... Also some very frightening ones!

Once when alone at ~2am on the top of a hill I smoked a good amount of extract, a "spirit" materialized before my eyes as a wolf/coyote (though it was translucent and blue, seemingly made out of galactic structures, stars, nebulae) and took me "in". That shook me up quite a bit and I ran home  :dancing:

About halfway home I started laughing...

This was the kind of info I was curious about. I wonder if salvia has the ability to "mesh" consciousness with plant life. I'm curious if any of you have been one with the trees, like you were with the inanimate objects? Like experiencing through its senses, or consciousness?

Salvia can make you mesh with ANYTHING. I've become a plant a few times on salvia. Not any particular plant just a plant. My favorite was when a became part of a tree covered with moss. I wasn't in wilderness at the time though. I was sitting in a van about as far from a tree as I have ever tripped with salvia. At first it appeared that I was sitting in a clearing in some fantasy type forest. EVERYTHING was pulsing with a life that I could feel and see. I sat there content observing this beautiful place for a bit. It wasn't until I started coming out of it that I realized I had become part of a tree that was somehow central to the whole vision. I felt myself separating from the tree as the trip faded. I lifted my arm from the armrest which was a large above ground root at the time and noticed that my arm was covered with long strands of moss which I pulled away with my other hand as I separated from the tree and once again became just me sitting in a van.

As far as a plants consciousness and senses go I couldn't tell you. I suppose that's going to be subject to how you personally view and feel about such things. It's just a trip though in the end.
