Cobweb mold? Pics!

My jars have this stuff growing in them, I noc'd them up a few days ago and the next day I left them in a box with a few air holes in it, incubating at around 83-85*F. I looked at one and it had a very thin layer of what looked like very thin mycelium all around it. It isn't very thick so I can't tell if its grey or white, it looks white from what I can tell. I used an LC to inoculate them, and this is my first time using an LC. The water content might be off though, if so just by a tiny bit.
What causes cobweb mold and does anyone have any pictures of it in its early stages? Also if this is cobweb mold, is there any way to salvage these jars without dumping them out?
Thanks -StriplessRED

first of cobweb is rare in jars. Also your incubation temps are a little high, 80F is fine, even room temperature will work (just a bit slower)
search the forum for cobweb, the fourth post down i think, pictures of mature cobweb.

Yea that's what I thought, but this doesn't exactly look like regular myc and it did take over the jars really fast.
I had them sitting behind my copmuter tower because the rest of the room was around 70*F. I have now opened up the place where they are, so the temp droped a few degrees and gets much more FAE.

Is there anyways to get rid of it? Or should I dump these jars? Or will the mycelium overtake it and will everything be fine?
Out of 24 jars, probably 10-12 have it, I haven't looked over all of them yet.
It's my first time with cobweb

ive never used jars myself but my understanding is that it would be advisable to chuck the jars and start over. i dont believe mycelium will take it over, its a contamination and it will just contaminate your entire grow.

There are thousands of mold spores floating in the air. Dactylium(cobweb) is only one of them and rarely infects sealed jars, even if its spores are present. It's mold though, and the exact one can't be determined by a picture. The bottom line is toss it out.
It also looks like your brf and verm are not well mixed. Mix them very well next time so there's no chunks.
It sounds like the contaminant is in your lc. RR

Well I noc'd up 24 jars, in 2 sets of 12. the first 12 are the ones that are getting the mold, the second are the ones that aren't. The first 12 also had too much water content in them, hence the clumps of substrate, the second set is fine and is showing no mold yet. I think the reason the first 12 got it is because they had little to no FAE for about a day and they had high humidity inside the jars due to too much water and high temps, from reading around the forums I think this was the main reason they got cobweb.
Oh well ill toss them out, thanks for the info everyone!

I heard that too much water is ideal for contams, but that info may have been wrong. I did use the same LC for both sets of jars, same syringe, flame sterilized the needle, and yes there are 0 signs of contams in the other jars

Yea, I know that I just read that cobweb mold grows better with higher humidity and little FAE, I dunno how accurate that is though.

I would check my sterilization protocol if I were you. 12 infected jars out of 24 is a pretty high contamination rate. Maybe you should consider working in a glovebox or under a flowhood for the inoculation...
