first time are these done

im shure my pf cakes are done a few of them look like the one in the pic they have ben like that for about 5-7 days know and have showed no more signs of growth are they ready to birth ok well i cant get to picture to this post but i got it under my gallery its the 1/4 pint jar

They are done when they are solid white, then wait a few more days to be sure.

aww.. reminds me of my first grow. 1/4 pint jars - how cute. the exact same ones too. i use'em for LCs and spore prints now. Best thing to do is SPAWN it 4x its weight OR volume coco-coir/coffee grounds (used), maybe gypsum and calcium carbonate too (a 'bulk substrate'). This will multiply your substrate and yield. that first picture looks pretty good..maybe could be a little whiter but thats not a very clear picture. so if thats what you were referring to than if it's looked the same for that long then its good to go. congrats.

yea i have a bunch of 1 pint jars and they are solid white i cant even see any verm in them and i know they are ready to birth but these 1/4 pint jars they are consistant but i can see the verm in the jar

know ther is a pic of my one pint jar in my gallery it may be my first time but i was expexting to mess up on probably most of them so i made a bunch of 1 pint and 1/4 pint jars problem is its went really good so far with the cakes i might have to make a few more fc or i might try to do some cassings can any one point me to a good newbie cassing method thers so many to choose from

i dont know i guess i thought they would go faster but i dont think ill use them again they did go faster but i think it might be werth the wait for the 1 pinters

so if i found horse poe at any average farm with horses and dried it would it work what if the horse poe already has myc growth on it can i use it

well if it had myc growth, i would think that it would die while you stored it (since it needs to be dry before you pasteurize) which would leave you with less nutrients in the poo.
im not to sure what i think about that tho. try and find poo with firefang on it. search the forums.
