Alright so i was parading around my yard the other day when i came across this rather odd mushroom and was hoping i could get an I.D on it.... so....
Size- Cap: 4mm. Stem: 7mm.
Shape- Hemishperical.
Modifiers- None.
Texture- Dry.
Visual- Scaly & Warted.
Color-White Background w/ brown scales and warts.
Context- Thin but Fragil wraping around the entire cap and connecting to the underside around the stem.
Odor- No noticable odor.
Gills- They were completly coverd by the skin of the mushroom, and theyre not definable. Theyre rather sponge like infact.
Gill Color- Bright Yellow with a sponge like appearance and texture.
Stem Location- Central
Stem Size- 7mm.
Stem Shape- Tapering Upward.
Stem Texture- Dry, Solid and Hard.
Stem Visuals- Smooth and Erect.
Stem Color- White.
Veils- None present.
Spore Print- Blueish Black.
Habitat- Sandy area, growing in shady patches beneath oak trees, next to my pig pen.
Extra Side Notes- The bruising on the gills of this mushroom was almost instintaneous as you can seen in the picture there is definable blue bruising that appeard as soon as i removed my fingers from the cap. Though to expose the gills to check the bruising i had to remove the skin from the underside of the cap. This is a strange mushroom and was hoping for an I.D. and note on Activity or not, though i doubt it is. Any Help is appreciated.

Definitely not a bolete, as far as I know all boletes are polypores and have porous or spongy like texture on the underside of the cap. From the pictures, it looks like some form of a puffball/earth ball.

I think it is a blue bruising bolete with the stem knocked off.
It is not active. Might be poisonous or edible depending on the exact species.
