lid for casing

should i use foil or original lid that came with tupperware(with holes poked of course. i really could not find the answer i was looking for.

Both will work, my foaf prefers the original lid, poke holes in the container, not the lid.

It's more sensible to use a foil lid when you're colonizing the casing layer. That way you can use your real lid over again if you want to....without holes poked all over it.

i tinfoil over the original lids, that way i can pull the foil back and look through the clear plastic to see progress without completely exposing to air.

i also poke holes through the lids and not the container.
