hey peeps, was wondering if i could get an ID i what i think could maybe be liberty caps, so here goes.
*sorry for crappy pic*
habitat (UK): was at the side of a forest path way in some tallish grass.
the cap is gold/brown (they was quite dry when i found them)there also is a nipple on the cap but there not that pronouced, i dont think. gills are smokey/chocolate brown almost grey. stem is mainly white with brown/rusty patches and i havent done a spore print :S
to be honest from the liberty cap pics i've seen on the internet these look way to small (maybe there young libs?) and they dont have any blue bruising yet :/ i hope they are libs but for some reason i dont think they are, please shed some light for me and if they are libs could anyone tell me if they'll grown back pretty soon? i spent days looking and only found these that look anything remotely like libs :|

ok another pic (sorry but it isnt really much of an improvement, i think my camera lense is cracked and its sending it all blurry ><)

they do look like libs but the only thing that is putting me off is there size (unless there young libs) and there is no blueing (i picked them about 4 hours ago)

Guess it's hard to tell, when it comes to Libs and bluing. They don't blue at all many times, so that's no real indicator for them I guess... They look very like them but since you can't take any usable pics, you shouldn't eat them.

huh, does not bruise blue.I had assumed from all the blue lib pics I've seen that they would.guess that's not too common though.
