They say, if you notice green mold (or any other kind of contam) in your mycelium jars, just throw them away. This is probably true, but only 99% ) ... Some time ago I bought a PuertoRico print from spores101, made some jars ... a couple of days passed and all of them had green spots ... where did I go wrong, I don't know. I know only, I threw 3 of them away, but the last one - I didn't - I took out what was green (80% was green already - it never looks THAT green until you open it and start to dig) - so at the end there was only ... let's say two-three teaspoons of 'healthy' mycelium at the bottom. I closed it again and left it in the dark. Tomorrow - another green spot - I made a 'surgery' on it and left it in the dark again. Another day gone - another green spot - I cut it away again ... Tomorrow - no molds coming up ... and so it stayed for some 10 days or so - no molds - nothing happened ... so I thought 'maybe I should give it some light' ... another week - nothing happened ... but after some 14 days or so - I was amazed to see a nice small mushroom growing ... ueeeeeeeey!!! Thank God, I said, let me just have one single print, so I can keep them going ... it didn't manage to make such a dark print as they usually do, but still - as you all know - a couple of spores are enough to make the next generation ... Here's what it looked like - as you can see, this PuertoRican beauty is growing practically on nothing - it's growing almost on nothing but glass!

U can upload pictures to the shroomery rather than linking them from other websites, the will load much faster.
U have to be very carefull with molds as it can so easily be spread to ur future grows, plus moulds are not very good for u. There could still be a little mould there that u can see.
It sounds like u got contamination from whatever method u used ur print with.

hmm... i didn't want to sound like 'look you all talk bullshit, it's possible to grow from mold', but 'hey, sometimes, only sometimes, maybe you can get lucky' ... yes, I got mold in the PuertoRico jars, but have other strains growing happily (Mazatapec and Orissa) Normally I throw all the greens away, of course
