For all the new shroom growers I just wanna share this with you.I know there are many teks out there to grow your shrooms and some to be honest confuse the crap out of you or add alittle bit of this and that to complete the process from A 2 Z.Growing shrooms for years I have tried all sorts of methods just for fun and the so called make your fungus alot more potent teks, but the basics of the whole process is very simple.Reading about messing with your cakes by doing these off the wall things that are not necessary it just doesnt need to be done. Its not cutting corners but just getting to the point and getting the job done so you can enjoy your shrooms. Here is the basic layout to growing your shrooms cut and dry. 1.Make your substrate 2.Pack your jars and boil or pressure cook them 3.Let your jars cool 4.Inoculate 5.Let the natural process complete its course 6.Case your finished product 7.Provide the correct environment to fruit 8.Enjoy your shrooms Now I might add that yes you need to read on the process of doing this right but keep it simple its not rocket science. There are steps and methods that just dont need to be done.Fungus is fungus and it will do what it does without all that funky mumbo jumbo. Have fun with your natural hobby dont strain the brain.Quote:

Nice post. I think with new growers (myself included because I have not been at it long) we end up checking and fussing with everything and this seems to ruin or prolong the grow. Once you learn that you just need to follow specific procedures and leave your projects alone the results follow.

it's not so much fallow specfic procidures. it's read the fucking manual. do it by a good proven tek. then once you have a couple good harvests and really start knowing what all is going on that's when you try your brain storming and coming up with things that you would like to test. I see more and more noobs trying to wing it and make new teks before they really know how to grow.

I think this forum needs to be split up into 2 different forums: 'Beginner Mushroom Cultivation' & 'Expert Mushroom Cultivation'.

[gradient:#FFB217,#FFB114]Yes I will give up my method of pure and simple mushroom growing from the first step to the last. This tek will be 100% beginner friendly, kinda like a, Growing Mushrooms For Dummies lol![/gradient]Agian I just gotta say its as simple as making cookies<---!!Making cookies is easy, just follow a few simple rules, can you mess up?YES but it doesnt meen its hard to do.Once having learned this simple recipe and leaving out all the little extras next thing you know, you have baked a pile of fine cookies. If you wanna add three different kinds of chocolate chips or five different kinds of nuts and hell why not add some nutmeg and all sorts of baking spices, shit lets make are chocolate from scratch, see were Im getting at? Growing shrooms is pretty much like that, its as easy or as hard as one makes it to be. I will get on the ball for you all and create The Shr00m Man Tek. Here is a fun game for you! This is my all time favorite Mushroom ! These grow right in my backyard ! HELL YA!!!!!

I absolutely agree. I wonder how hard it would be to actually get it thought about.
