School for Pharmacognosy / Ethnobotany

I'm currently going to a pretty good university, studying botany.
The thing is, what I really want to do is study pharmacognosy, the study of medicine from natural sources, and ethnobotany, in the growing and pharmacology kind of way.
If anyone's interested, I've found this thread on another forum where a member was asking about a good graduate programs for ethnobotany.
I was wondering if any shroomerites could shed their opinion on good college programs for botany, and/or ethnobotany, and/or pharmacognosy? . . . maybe some opinions on the various programs mentioned in the link.
Thanks, kybish.

First time hearing about pharmacognosy, that sounds really cool man, wish you best of luck in pursuing the field! I've been looking into ethnobotany and psychopharmacology..interesting stuff!

As far as I know,UH Manoa is the only US university that offers a degree in ethnobotany.I am currently enrolled in the undergraduate ethnobotany program at UHM

Actually I really like the campus.I dont much like honolulu but it is easy to away from the city. This is my first semester here, the housing is ok.Freshmen housing sucks but i transferred as a sophmore. The professor that is the head of the ethnobotany track is not to my liking. This sucks because this is the guy thats gonna be giving me my masters degree. But I think we just havnt clicked yet and I dont see him in a good light.Maybe things will change.
I dont plan to leave so maybe that says a lot for how much i enjoy it here. The people here are great,I have met a wide variety of people.Hawaii is deff. a cultural melting pot. There seems to be a lot going on here in the ways of ethnobotany.
If a traditional university setting is what your after then I would recommend UHM
