A Great Way To Grow Your Shr00ms

I have used this method for years to grow my shrooms in a healthy enviroment as close to nature as possible, its cheap and easy. Youll need 1 kid play tent(you can by at walmart or whatever) 1 plastic clear bag like they use to cover a love seat and 1 cool mist humidifier.READY?! 1.SET UP TENT 2.PUT CLEAR BAG OVER TENT 3.PUT COOL MISTER AT THE MOUTH OF THE TENT ABOUT HALF WAY IN THEN PLACE THE PLASTIC OVER THE MISTER BUT NOT OVER THE AIR VENT AND KINDA TUCK IT IN AND AROUND THE MISTER TO CLOSE IT OFF. Thats the method. Now before you do the above place casings in tent then follow steps 1-3. Note:Always check water level in the mister so it does not run out, you can keep it going 24hrs a day until you see your pins and then into happy good looking healthy shrooms. This process does not take long at all, results may vary from person to person. GOOD LUCK!

hello.
you have a great thing going, but no pictures or quality descriptions.
if you add some more information and better detail, people would have a better chance at success using your perscribed method.

I hear you two things thoe... 1.A person may ask me as many questions as they want until they get what they get out of it and fully understand:) 2.As when I was a member to shroomery along time ago I have and never will post pictures.

Oh, I see.
My point is simple. If you post a method here on the shroomery, you do so with the intention of sharing this with others so that they can do the same.
Without proper description or detail, folks won't be able to follow your exact path to achieve your results. They may just stray from your idea and never get what you intended them to get.
But I understand your concern... Maybe you can e-mail your tek to another member of the shroomery, and they can post it for all to see and learn from. Just an idea.

I'm not going to argue with you, it sounds like a good idea. Useing a tent as a martha type setup but placing it out door's ...
outdoors there is a continious air flow, no competeing spores to land on the sub to compete for nutrients. Inside a tent it will just attracked mushroom flys/mites and trap in spores, not to mention it's not very practical, especially if you live in the city or a colder climate i.e Canada
Investing in a portable generator to run the humidifer is also unpractical for the average home cultivator.
But hey, I do not disagree that a tent would make a perfect martha
take care.

very cool thoe i do use the tent indoors and the theory is that the mister blows are fair amount of air through the tent and have had no problems with the method by far.

see, that's just one key detail left out... that it is to be used indoors. the title implies that it should be used outdoors, i.e. close to nature...
we understand though. my point simply was that if you want to share a method, please do so in a way where others can follow it correctly. This is done so at least with a good description of the process and materials needed. you don't necessarily need to put up photos, they just help illustrate your text.
So basically it's a large humidity tent in the form of a kids tent covered in plastic, humidified by a coolmist.
got it.

My backpacking tents rarely last more than a couple of years, and that's only using them a dozen or so times per year. All it takes is a few rainy trips and your tent grows a nasty crop of black mold. I'd avoid using one for a fruiting chamber for that reason. In addition, plastic sheeting is better suited, doesn't mold, and is a fraction of the cost. RR

I meant close to nature by lol!the tent mimics the outdoors. The tent I am talking about is a kids play tent(not a camping tent) this type of tent is small and kinda just folds into place very easy with no setup required. It takes up very little space in the house.
