How do you dress? Your clothing style of choice?

How ya'll dress?
I'm a fashion disaster, usually. Well at least that's how I look at myself.
I have like 5 pairs of pants (two cargo pants, two puma pants, and a pair of girl jeans I like) and I kinda collect "cool T-Shirts"
My "trademark" clothes are my Kilt, and my 7 year old Punk Rock Vest, all studded and spiked out for the win.
What do Ya'll wear? Anyone have their "trade mark" clothing article?

The only real "trademark" article clothing I have would be my blue jean jacket. Its got patches and embroidering on it. Seems like I wear that thing just about everywhere.

I used to love Army boots: Had like 4 pairs of differnt varities; They hurt my feet too much now, so I like my high tops/lowtops (sometimes)
Anyone here a Lieutenant of the Tacky Sweatpants here?

i wore the boots for so long i can't walk normal with anything which has thinner soles than 3cm.
sometimes i walk around with vans though.
i'm planning to buy a coat from a goth shop: cargo material, black, three buttons around the chest, tight around the middle and goes down to your boots and it has a priest collar almost.

3/4 cut-off pants or cargo pants or cargo-shorts.. quite a few have been hand-patched over the years.. i don't own a single pair of jeans
record company or festival brand t-shirts... think trees, cool graphics/designs, etc...
hoodies... north face, seedless, T5S, etc..
some sort of hat... beanie, ball cap, etc...
skate-shoes or new balance type running shoes.
that's my daily attire..
i own a few polos that i like to throw in there sometimes, and also double for dinner-wear.. for fancy times, i have shirts, ties and dress-pants.

most of the time, I dress in your standard suburban fare:
polo shirt, corduroys. I also have a huge collection of t-shirts I'm pretty proud of, mostly band shirts. I wear those on my days off.
I do, however, own a leather biker's jacket, complete with punk rock pins all over the lapels. I wear that in the winter months.
my girlfriend found some old blue hair dye the other day, I'm REALLY tempted to use it like old times, but I don't think my boss would like that.. (I have an office 'business casual' kind of job, hence the aforementioned polos)
I used to dress really wild all the time, spikes chains, torn jeans, unnatural hair color... but I got tired of all the cop attention it drew. Plus its hard to get a decent job when you look like that. If I had my way though, I'd still dress that way. Stupid society.

Yeah, I'd dress more liberal if it wasn't for the "Keep up a front of being a "respectable member" of society" type spiel.
Oh well...Days off are good enough for me; Although Dunkin Donuts might let me dye my hair.

its fucking whack that you have to conform to certain standards of appearance just to get a job... I used to only work at places that were tolerant of my fashion choices... but now I'm old and I need more money and health insurance, so working at the local organic market ain't gonna cut it any more.
It makes you wonder who really supports these standards of dress... and why we voluntarily conform to them.
One thing I'm hoping is that humanity gets rid of the business suit in my lifetime. Who the fuck made that standard? That shit really pisses me off, the suit and tie. Its like its fucking DESIGNED to be uncomfortable... I really don't understand why a society would all get together and decide that the suit is what we're gonna consider 'professional attire'. Thats so ludicrous. Why can't it be like in india where they wear robes and shit. Seems much more comfy
If I had a time machine, I'd go back in time and find the guy that invented the suit and tie, then I'd kick his ass...
seems to me there is no reason why lawyers and CEOs can't just wear jeans and tshirts.

well for the longest time i wore baggy jeans, but i'm really growing out of that. in fact, i have a pair of jeans i just got last christmas that i simply won't wear now because they're too baggy. maybe i could shrink em in the dryer.
but now i wear jeans that fit. like two blues, one black (that i got out of my father's closet in his parent's house). I've also got a pair that are ripped up a bit with a plaid patch on the thigh. they're baggy kinda, but i roll them up to my shins, so they're fun and remind me of huck finn or some shit.
i've got a lot of just plain colored t-shirts that fit (aren't loose) because i like my chest , a bunch of colored button-up dress shirts i wear with the sleeves rolled up, and a couple of plaid long sleeves i wear with the sleeves rolled up which i also got from my father's old closet (my favorite of these is a nifty purple plaid).
when it gets cold i've got like 5 or 6 blazers from the thrift store (i primarily wear the chocolate brown w/ thin pinstripes, the lighter brown corduroy, and for certain occasions the green plaid) and two hoodies - one pullover, one zip-up, both with fun graphics.
for shoes i've got a pair of rainbow sandals i wear too often, a beat up pair of skinny brown pumas, and a newer pair of light tan puma sneakers.

i like liking the way i dress. what i mean is, i enjoy wearing something i think looks cool, and then being vain and looking in the mirror. it gives me a sort of fun confidence, which may very well be pathetic, but whatev. i don't try super hard, but when i find something i like, i'll get it and have fun. like 80% of the clothes i wear on a regular basis are from thrift stores or are plain colored tshirts i got in a bulk lot off of ebay for less than 4 bucks a shirt.

I have 3 pairs of shorts I fucking love. They're polo, 2 pair that are cargo have holes all over them. one looks like it's about to disintegrate. I'm wearing the newer pair so the others will last a bit longer.
Umm, rainbow sandals, a belt from walmart and a hemp belt for comfort.
I have a shitload of shirts. bunch of shirts from track meets and hockey, festival shirts and some cool 'different' shirts. a shirt I made that reads "Legalize Heroin". And if the weather is nice, i'll wear a collared shirt.
if I wear shoes, it'd preferrably be some brooks(sooo comfortable) or nike pegasus(fuckers at nike finally did something right!)
and yeah that's pretty much it

Usually im in a pair of shorts and flip flops, i usually dont even have my flops on. If i have to ill throw a plain white shirt. If it gets cold ill throw on my zip up hoodie. Work isnt much different, ill put on a pair of pumas, and possibly some pants, and a polo.

Mostly board shorts with a t-shirt or polo-shirt. And also flip flops or crocs. Occasionally when I go to a club I'll wear a Façonnable button up and if it's cool enough jeans. It's so fucking hot in the Caribbean, I've even pretty much abandoned under wear.
I miss my hoodies.

I have more clothes than both my sisters combined. It's pretty bad really. Have 2 closets filled. Mostly collared shirts and starched jeans with holes in em. Lots of affliction and hurley shirts. Lots of shoes.
I like to switch things up and don't really have a 'style of choice'. You'll never catch me in... err... wearing women's pants.

i don't really care about my appearance right now, so i have one pair of sweatpants and a pair of decently nice slacks i wear to work.
at home i have a completely destroyed and stained pair of orange ufo cutoff shorts and a paisly pattern homemade pair of cargo pants.
i had some cool homemade stuff but it all fell apart.
i have one plain blue hoody, one orange homemade alex grey hoody, and one drug rug/baha hoody.
other than that i wear long sleave thermal shirts, as i think all of my t-shirts have disappeared (every time i move i rarely bring my clothes).
that being said i have had some much cool shit i get pissed off when i think about it. lots of hand customized stuff, rediculously awesome thriftstore stuff, stuff people traded to me for drugs... i think of all the clothes i miss i miss my ani defranco hoody that i wore almost every day for like 4 years straight, and then a bitch ex-girlfriend convinced me to throw it away (before cheating on me several times and leaving me).
edit:i thought it was funny someone mentioned hollister, i had never heard of the place till i started working there.
also, from my experience working there, it seems like 14 year old girls are mostly who shop there.

Lets see, for work I dress in a shirt and tie. I tend to prefer pretty classic clothes, but always make surethey look nice, and are ironed. I'll wear collared shirts under a blazer with jeans and dressy boots for casual fridays.
other than that I wear a lot of polo, and I have a small passion for those extra thin sweaters from Banana Republic. I wear my jeans a tad baggy and cross an "urban" look with a more upscale one.

Shirts are all black and have metal bands on them. Pair of jeans not too tight but not baggy at all. Or a pair of green or grey shorts. Old beat-up pair of black shoes or a pair of boots.

i dress like a bum. I cant find pants that fit me. I always say i will hem the bottoms down, but i don't, so i'v got 8 pairs of jeans with the bottom/backside torn to shreds from stepping on them. I own the same tee shirts that i'v had for years. Some of them i'v had since 3rd, and 5th grade. Mostly rock. I used to wear the same beanie cap all the time to cover up my receding hairline, and so i wouldn't have to cut my hair quite as often, but now i just try to shave my head as often as possible. I was wearing pair after pair of sneakers down for several years, but have just recently learned to tolerate flip flops. I broke down, and had my girlfriend buy me a pair of crocks because they are so comfortable. I feel incredibly gay wearing them, but than i remember that i'm not trying to impress anybody. Hense the rest of my wardrobe.
I want to start dressing up nicer, but that requires money that i don't have, and in the scheme of things isn't that important to me.

hells yeah bro i know what you mean. I also have clothes that still fit me from several years back. Or I'd take the ones which were given away from other people. Fuck the impressed, comfort is success! I know guys and gals that would take up 2 to 3 closet spaces.

I don't really give a fuck about my clothes or how people perceive me. I shop at thrift stores, like once a year. I own 3 pairs of pants.. all cargo. 2 pairs of shorts. Also cargo. Have about 5 t-shirts of various design (2 of them are shroomery), the others I have owned for many years. 2 hoodies, 1 old school iron maiden, 1 shroomery And paratrooper boots.
I can fit my entire wardrobe into a hiking backpack, with room to spare. And frequently do. All I care about clothes is: 1. Comfort 2. Warmth Fuck fashion.

I sort of switch off between a bunch of different styles on a daily basis. I just wear whatever I feel like wearing that day- or whatever I have cleaned.
Not a fan of big gang-banger shirts though- or jerseys. And I definitely can't stand random $5 gimmick t-shirts, or those with quotes on them. Plenty of others can pull off those outfits, but I can't.

Mega-bump, because I can bitches!
Usually some sort of blue jeans (only own 2 pairs now), or jean cut-offs. I own lots of fitted black t-shirts, because I feel retarded wearing anything bigger than a men's small (I'm only 5'7", gimme a break).
I've also got a couple polos and some button-up shirts, but the button-ups aren't anything flashy. They're actually kinda ragged now, but whatever. I've got a couple hoodies for when it gets cooler, and when winter comes I layer on the sweaters then throw on a light trench coat.
Shoes, either Vans skate shoes or Adidas kicks. I found a pair of Adidas Kingstons in the States and they fit amazingly snug and they're super comfy.
I usually have a fitted cap in the warmer months, but in the winter I have an array of beanies and hats, and sometimes pull off the headband-over-the-baseball-cap look in the winter.
Sunglasses are a must every day, unless it's retardedly cloudy.

i usually wear band shirts, unbranded shirts, jeans or dickies, skate shoes and i have a few cool casual button down shirts. Sometimes i break out the dr. martin dress shoes, slacks and dress shirts, just to keep people guessing. i really hate going to stores though, so buying clothes can be a bitch.

Or you could just go to a fucking tailor and get your suit to fit. I like it when I have a reason to wear my suits. They look better, and they're plenty comfortable.

I own about 5 different t shirts, 2 different hoodies and 3 pairs of jeans. I literally wear whatever combination are clean
I'm looking the smartest I've ever looked at the moment, as I just got some new shoes (in the sale of course ) and picked up some nice baggy black jeans for £7 . I normally top this off with a beat up skating brand hoody and a t-shirt depicting something random; right now its darth vader trimming a hedge into the shape of a deathstar
Since this current combination of clothing only has a few inconspicuous holes in the hoody, I look somewhat smart (for me anyways - I've even taken the time to separate out the dreads that were tangling into one mega dread hah).. women have actually spoken to me for no reason :O .. It almost motivates me to dress nice.. but I cba.

I have neon greenish dreads ATM... I don't care that much about what I'm wearing in public, lol it's not like I look "smart" with the hair anyways. I have like 10 shirts and T-shirts, mostly at least 3 years old, and only one pair of pants that aren't too torn up (baggy camos I'm wearing most of the time). 2 hoodies... denim jacket... leather coat... military boots...

Baggy fat railed cords for pants. 'nicer' t-shirts or polo shirts depending on work that day. Custom Vans that are black and cacky so they meet 'work' requirements.

I wear whatever is clean. Basically everything is black (minus 2 t shirts) and half of them are so faded they're not even black anymore. Mostly random band t shirts and a few T Shirt Hell ones. It's not much of a style, but a lack of one
I have no trademark clothing articles. Mostly it's whatever comes out of the drawer first gets worn.

I wear wool "old man pants", caterpilla boots (most comfortable foot wear I've ever had), black t-shirts with pictures that appeal to me, a wool army jacket or plain jersey and a wool "tea cozy" hat. In case you haven't figured it out it's friggen cold where I live.

I've got a huge assortment of black band t-shirts and sweatshirts that account for much of my apparel, but there are other random tees, a couple tie-dyes, some vintage polos as well as a couple knit long-sleeved shirts (wearing one now)
I tend to steer clear or jeans and denim in general, I've got a few pairs of khakis, some poly/cotton dickies work pants, and a pair or two of chords.
Nothing fancy or designer, but I'm comfortable in it...

I'm usually not satisfied with my clothes until I've put a hole in it somewhere. But if you ask me, I look plenty nice. It's all in the smile, baby.
