The survival of the Salvia divinorum species...

I often find myself wondering whether or not Salvia will become an endangered species once it becomes illegal... I mean, the only way this plant could possibly survive is if it were to become very popular on the black market. There's a part of me that wants to see it become a very popular illegal drug, just so I can have to peace of mind, knowing that it will never become extinct... yet another part of me doesn't want to see it fall into the hands of young kids, because, it CAN become dangerous in the wrong hands. What do you guys think on the matter? Do you think it will thrive on the black market, or fade off into nothing?
-------------------- I'm in need of a sterile sporeprint, if anyone wants to do a trade for some seeds or something, or maybe just for free if you have a lot of them............. i'd really appreciate it NuggetPorch said - "YES! YES!!!! Coaster its Faint, but its fucking there YOU see it!!! Perhaps we are both on some sort of unusual wave length associated with unusual neuro-transmitters, mind expansion white light, or something we can not even begin to understand or fathom to conceive because it is a gift of insight or a curse given to us by powers beyond our control, something we are not meant to know."

I imagine it will be a very specialized niche that only exists in specific circles. It's easier to make than LSD, but less appeal to most people. It'll probably be about as available as DMT =/. If I hear definitive criminalization, I'll be buying some plants/stockpile. I don't think you have to worry about it falling into the hands of young kids. Look at these forums, a large amount of people express their discomfort with Salvia. Hell, it discomforts me too, but I still appreciate it!

I think it will fade a lot from where it is right now. It won't go away but I wouldn't be surprised to see it become even less common than DMT.
Both DMT and Salvia have a few key things in common. They both have some of the most powerful effects you can get from anything. They are both short acting making it easy to fit an experience into most any schedule.
DMT can be gotten from a lot of different plants as well as synthetic. More people who try DMT seem to like than do people who try salvia. Once salvia is just as illegal it doesn't seem to have much going for it that will keep it popular aside from it's a lot quicker and easier to extract.
I personally like salvia better than I do dmt but I have a feeling I'm not the norm on that.

That was posted yet when I started my post. Looks like we are both thinking along the same lines and I bet it's not far off either.
If you are in the US then now is the time to get to work with some plants. They are going to be harder to come by in the winter. Next spring or summer may be too late. I learned that lesson last year but I got a couple of plants early this year and have turned those two into 16.

No, it wont be on the black market because no one in there right mind would use Salvia to get off. Salvia is not fun, it is scary as hell. Same for DMT but DMT would be easier to get then Salvia if salvia becomes illegal because DMT comes from many different sources and salvia does not. Yes you should all buy salvia plants even if you don't like salvia because who knows, maybe one day you will find it has a place in your life.

Take it easy dude, but take it!

LOL. I've gotten a lot of comments on that one. I still get stuck starring at it.
The last avatar I used made me think of salvia more though.

The frequency of the smaller spheres orbiting the big one nail it.
