Considering the region where these were collected I'm just going to settle for make believe. They obviously aren't cyanescens

Lots of other stuff to look at, and we just had a bit more rain pass through... yay.

thanks elflord, yeah none are active species.
Cactu... are you going to make me try to name all those? I have no idea, besides, that's Alan's job haahaa
1 - 4 are definitely in the family of Strophariaceae. Based the greenish color i kinda want to say they are Hypholoma but i wouldn't rule out anything in the family.
5 - 7 Grifola frondosa of course, all around the same tree actually. I harvested only one of the florets, leaving the smaller two for another couple days.
8 and 9very likely Mycena. I only took pictures. They were tiny, caps about 5mm across.
10 is without question a Cort, 11 and 12 probably are but they were so small and so few I didn't want to disturb them to have a look. I'll be going back to check in a day or so (they are close to the maitake oak)
13 is Armillaria tabescens. I just finish eating them about two hours ago in a medley which also contained chanterelles and grifola.
14... man i don't know heehee, Tricholomataceae of some sort... right? i didn't bring any home.
15 Pholiota aurivella
16 Lycoperdon pulcherrimum
17 and 18 not sure
19... again I'm not sure about its identity, another scruffy LBM that was not more than 5mm at the widest point.. but the white ropey strands surrounding it are from the Armillaria which are really common in that particular forest.
20 Russula emetica
21 again i don't know however i did bring that one home and it left a white spore print. It was clearly growing on decaying forest litter. I wold like to know what it is but haven't started really tying to figure it out yet... see i found something earlier in the year which i think may be the same species. here are the pictures

I am pretty sure that is the same. I would really like to know what it is as well. Did you look at the spores under the scope yet?
Is the cort a Cortinarius ponderosus? I found one once that looked 95% like a king bolete.
1-4 look a lot like sulfur tufts.

did put the spores under the microscope... smooth, ellipsoid to nearly lacrymoid... pretty much colorless... unfortunately i still haven't gotten around to buying a micrometer. No chemical tests have been performed as of yet.
Ponderosus is a good possibility for the cort. Hopefully more will be found... usually i don't bother making Cortinarius collections unless they are abundant enough and present at varying stages of growth to have even a fighting chance.
I think you are right about 1 - 4 being fasciculare, they had that distinctive green tinge. I've personally never found the species all wavy like that... but they certainly aren't required to abide by former morphological precedent on a such a personal level

Brought home only two clusters that day. And a couple relatively flavorless chanterelles.
Coon: what was the "love the sheepsheads, not literally" supposed to mean??? No one thought you engage in such behaviors. Pigsarefood: excited isn't the right word, I live in kansas and never actually thought they were a potent Psilocybe. Taunted maybe, excited not really. But they do look cool.
Kaal-kopje: thank you for the kind words and encouragement... wish I had access to your hunting grounds. Your recent muscaria shots are great!
