Yes, its that time of year again, where im hustling schoolbusses. I have a rather decent hookup, and can get these buses for pretty cheap. so anyone that actually wants a school bus, PM me. Just know that you're going to have to front out from $1500 to $2000 within the next week if you're actually serious about it.

Do you do this every year? If so, then I'll start saving.
I'd like to get one, convert it into a roadtrip bus. I'd have the engine rebuilt and such so it'd be good for it.

About how much are you selling them for? Some friends of mine were looking to buy one (and may have already, I'm not sure.) for $2000 or less.

they are being sold for around $2000, and located in Chicago. i suggest giving your friends a call, and seeing if they are interested. But like i said before, you would actually have to front out the cash in the next week or 2.

There is a place that I drive by all the time that deals in retired buses from city bus service fleets. They must have at least 500 buses sitting there for sale.
Not sure what I'd do with an old city bus though. Maybe pull up to a bus stop, pick up a bunch of strangers, and then make a U-turn and go back the way I came.

they are all in drivable condition, but a bit rusty, not the kind of thing you would want to see your kid picked up in, but mechanically sound. Perfectly workable for dirty hippies traveling the country.
