honestly the fwd doesnt bother me. not like the motor is that heavy anyway. i dont do auto-x or anything like that and only have a few basic mods so far(intake, header, cams).
my original plans were to swap in a bluebird or gti-r motor but forced induction is just too much maintenance for me right now.
a good friend of mine has a sr20VE in his 95ser, its pretty fucking quick.
then we just helped another guy around here turbo his p10 G20 with the VE motor. i only rode in it once though and i dont know if his VVL was working right at the time.
anyway, yeah. we are really into nissans with sr20s

Meh...from the sounds of it, there's quite a few Honda-bashers on here, but whatevs. I'll show you guys my ride. It's a 2001 Honda Prelude. Not the fastest car in the world, but it handles like a champ! I also have a Ninja 250..but I suck so bad at riding right now, that I don't even find myself worthy of mentioning that too often.

Haha, I took these pictures when I first threw on my new suspension (Tien S-techs and Tokico Blues). Its funny to see how much the springs have settled in since then. It's almost too low for my tastes now- at least when it comes to daily driving.

kinda slow, thats stock IROC times, my old pontiac managed 10.746 @ 144mph running a naturally aspirated 355cid with a 2bbl carb... but if you're one of those import tuner guys I guess 13 seconds is pretty good
maybe displacement plays an important factor

For a street car that only runs 4cylinders @8lbs on stock tires and suspension, I consider it pretty damn good. The car runs Sti's and Evos and beat WS6's, well ran.

If I had a choice of what kind of honda I wanted when mine was given to me... it definitely wouldn't have been a civic. If I were to stick with Honda as my manufacturer of choice, I'd be driving a prelude, but honestly Nissan is where its at.

Definitely. Just a shame they never put a RWD out on the market... I can't think of a single Honda that is RWD at the moment.

I can't believe nobody on here drives a DSM! They are fun cars. I won't knock any of you or your cars, because any car can be fast with the right work and mods. I have beat Srt4s, Audis, a shit ton of hondas (Lol, but there are some fast ones), Wrx's. All types. I love racing. For you import tuners here is some of the major mods I have.
1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (I should have got a GSX)
GT35r ball bearing turbo Greddy fmic 1000cc injectors DSMLink HKS 272 cams Walboro 255 fuel pump (I need to upgrade this..Hard to find something better that will work.) ACT 2900 Clutch
Too much to list. The car is fun as hell to drive. I still want to test it against something super fast. I did race a Lotus Elise one time and beat it pretty badly..But I also found out that they aren't as fast as they are made out to be.

Yeah. The eclipses have alot of power if you know how to mod them. The 4G63 motor in the eclipse is the second highest rated motor under the toyota supra's 2Jz

Says who?
I'd put the Rb26Dett above both.

Yeah...I'll never understand why they didn't make the Prelude RWD...or even AWD to improve its handling standards even further. I think Honda seriously prioritizes their Asian market way more than Domestically. That's why they still haven't developed many new innovations to their vehicles since the early 90's- at least, those which appeal to American customers. Honda is one stubborn company- and Acura doesn't even make any sense these days, period.
