What artists do you guys listen to when you trip?
Personally, my last trip the artist Mika really was great for the highs, and Mutemath was great for the more psychedelic times.
Who do you listen to?

Usually Tool or Smashing Pumpkins...."reflection" off Lateralus is trippy enough by itself.....and Siamese Dream is an all-around trippy album

The list is long, and this topic is brought up over and over again, but I enjoy answering.
Funkadelic Radiohead Sun Ra Ornette Coleman Joshua Redman (his elastic band stuff) Roy Hargrove (his RH Factor stuff) Cream Bela Fleck and the Flecktones Edan J Dilla Madlib Jimmi Hendrix Peanut Butter Wolf Pat Metheny Group (The Way Up specifically) People Under the Stairs Robert Glasper San Francisco's Shiver
I usually just put iTunes on random and see where it takes me, so pretty much anything goes, but those are people/bands that have stood out as better than average music while tripping.

Tool is definitely amazing, but can be quite intense..at least in the dark. Listening to psytrance and electronic music in general on mushrooms also was my first time really listening to the genre..made me appreciate it alot more and understand its appeal for sure.
Found 2-cb to be just as susceptible to music as well in terms of driving the trip. Remember starting to slowly come up, when 'Where's my head at' by the basement jaxxx was put on, after a series of mellower songs...I think its safe to say during that song, it was confirmed to me that the rocket had taken off
The dynamics between music and drugs, to me, gives more validity to shamanic traditions and their methods of using songs and drums to facilitate ones experience. Showed at least some understanding of the psyche and the psychedelic experience..I like the idea of shamans being the primordial psycholgist/therapist..but I digress.
Drugs and music go together like apple..and pie. I'd suggest getting a broad mix of different genres and experiencing the different emotions and mental landscapes that it produces
