I'm going to go absolutely nuts by 9:07 tonight, which is first pitch of the Cubs-D'backs.
I dont know how to handle this.

Well...I was angry about it at the time, but in hindsight it was probably the right move...
Lou decided to go w/ a 3-man rotation for the playoffs, which means Z has to pitch again on Sunday on 3 days rest. So obviously you want him fresh.
And Marmol is by far our best reliever. I think that is maybe his 2nd home run given up all year? He's usually absolutely unhittable. I had before, and still have 100% confidence in him. I would trot him out again tonight in the same situation.
You aren't going to win many playoff games getting 1 run on 4 hits.

If Marmol has only given up two homers all year then they have both been in the last week because he gave up one to Cabrera when they were in Florida. Lucky for you, Arizona doesn't have much else in starting pitching other than Webb.

Yeah it's basically game over. We can't expend the energy to try and close that gap in the first game. Unless our offense happens to go on a crazy tear, good show by the tribe.

Did anyone see that fucked up "Lead Off" graphic on TBS' playoff games?
Apparently they only use it when a guy is one first. Its a graphic overlying the field, which shows how many feet of lead-off the runner has. Its red for the first few feet, then black, then green for a few feet. I guess the idea is that if the runner is in the green he should be running.
I just find it annoying.

Yeah, I saw it. I think that it is pretty stupid also, but hey, at least these games aren't on Fox so I'll put up with a little first base dirt graphic.
