Maybe I don't know how truth works in revelaing itself. I know what it looks like when I see it though.
Being extremely passionate about finding it seems is certainly required, and willingness to retreat.

This is something I agree on. Truth is in between that desire to discover, and the (necessary?) retreat from that which is discovered. Though experiences that feel like truth should be comforting, they are not comforting to the small mind. (Self-importance is an energy drain.)
To paraphrase a friend: "Seeing the ox is one thing. Taming it may be a life's work."
Maybe I misunderstand what you're trying to convey. More than likely, actually. But I appreciate the fact you're trying to convey it.
Maybe I'm trying not to show my Inner Alarmist. Called my bluff. Thanks.

My "path" has reached its relative destination. Now I can walk with a purpose. I'm not on a journey to ixtlan.
I chose to submit to a force which is unyielding. God. Like I said, I was literally calling God out with my reckless abandonment to finding the truth. A willingness to die to find it. This was necessary for me evidently.
Why God chose to reach out and grab me out of my confusion, I do not know. Perhaps I was allowed to blatantly worship the self and earthly things prior to deliverance so that maybe one person can hear what I am saying.

Death also works when you choose it...and it is very prompt as well.
-------------------- "A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

I practiced a year of constant self inquiry. Only to find the emptiness they speak about and the demonic realms that entails. These guys who are "awake" are pure evil.
God created us in order to glorify him. To worship him. To love him.
"In your version of reality" .... What???
Are we having a little psychotic break?

Yeah, I'm sure that's it.
