Hey there!
Just check this out and tell me what you think about it. I was really impressed, damn! It made me nearly a little scared
Media's Future

German: http://media.aperto.de/google_epic2015_de.html

Interesting video though I think it is kind of funny that they chose the NY Times to symbolize journalistic integrity...I think the concept of journalistic integrity and the fourth estate is dead already and the role that the internet has played or will play in its demise is nil compared to conglomerations like Gannet, Viacom, and ClearChannel.
At least with the concept of "Epic" it is ultimately up to the consumer what news he will receive as opposed to the editorial decisions of the economically elite.

The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day.” -- Thomas Jefferson The greatest sin of mankind is ignorance. The press takes [Trump] literally, but not seriously; his supporters take him seriously, but not literally. --Salena Zeto (9/23/16)

I was quite surprised that future could be lead by information flow. Information wars could be the consequence... I won't wonder if this would happen!

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein "Fear is the great barrier to human growth." ~ Dr. Robert Monroe ~~~*Dosis sola facit venenum*~~~ *Check my profile to listen to my music*

unimpressive, its basically the same system we have now except its all online.
i don't think the computer could reliably strip information from bloggers anyways. there would be way more crap and subjectivism if you took the news from bloggers than there already is.
edit: not saying the system in the video is flawed or not going to happen, just saying its basically the same thing we have now and it doesn't seem to be that great; ever seen the video blogs on youtube, yeesh, imagine if thats where you were getting your news from (the video implies that all media outlets will fall to bloggers?)

Doesn't the video say there is crap included in it (not in those words)?
We will have to be careful about naming the world described by media outfits such as this. They will describe the human world, probably to a high degree, but will not describe reality. Care should be taken in which words we use.
It'll probably be called something like "THIS IS THE WAY REALITY IS!" or some such
