Places that Haven't worked in the PNW!

So as everyone knows it's not a great idea to post over the ever accessible internet so any Joe schmo can attack you patch. But a fact to keep in mind is there are hundreds of mushrooms out there. There are tons of untapped patches, and it's just finding the time to search them out.
My hopes with this thread is to narrow down the choices with other peoples experiences... This way we aren't repeating each other mistakes and will narrow our search and increase our chances.
So A good example is a friend of mine living in Maple Valley near Seattle. He grew up there and has spent days, months and whole seasons looking there. After a few years he can confidently say there is nothing, not even a scrap. Granted construction may change things, but it's a really dry spot....
Well, I hope this concept works and we can help each other out without breaking the rules of the game...

None of the public parks in north Portland, NW Portland, SW Portland, and out east to 82ndish. Farther east I haven't explored much. The edges and outward are more promising, Portland Parks just don't use alder chips enough. This is after 3 seasons of full-time checking and rechecking all over the place. All it has taken is for me to go to another city and I can spot cyans from 50 feet. I'm sure there are some around, the climate is perfect, but from all the hours me and company have put in, it took me 3 years of hunting in inner-Portland and a few hours of hunting in different cities to come to the conclusion that the amount of energy put in is not equal to the benefits received here. Portland hunters spread your tentacles to neighboring cities!

It also looks like the rules have changed since last year, so I'm not sure if cities are too specific or if it's still alright to mention parks and all that. I apologize if I broke the new rules, I'm going through them right now. I will edit if requested. I do like the idea of a where NOT to look information-exchange though, even if it isn't very reliable.

This is fine. A good idea. It does not jeopardize anyones security if we are NOT hunting the locations mentioned. What is worrisome, is making public good hunting spots, which might then be over hunted, or watched closely by police. But lets play it safe, and keep things fairly vague.
You may mention good spots to pick, but make sure they are very LARGE parks, such as Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. Ones which could not possibly be covered and watched closely by a handful of police.
If you think it is likely that you would run into another hunter on a regular basis, if you both hunted the same park on the same days, then it is too confined an area, and should not be mentioned.
Safe hunting guys!

Or spread your woodchips From what I've heard about Portland, they don't use alder chips too much. Y'all should start some guerrilla patches.

Yeah, but most of the reports are drawing on past years experience.. As described above if you read the posts.

You're right. We tried to get one started last year, but the spores never... germinated, is that the word I'm looking for? And then we also only had a couple small smoking bags of alder chips. Never found a good place to get bulk alder chips that didn't cost a lot to transport either. With the coast so close though, and me only needing a handful a year for myself, I have a hard time convincing myself to put much effort/$ into that.
You and @cro's pictures are what I turned to to keep me going when I was all wet with empty hands years past in Portland, hope to see you guys keeping it up this season!

Anywhere in puyallup is a bad idea. Apparently every single buisness/school/park has a thing against alder chips :p
