pump it up
    #7472540 - 10/01/07 12:01 AM (16 years, 4 months ago)

last things will be in soon, so i want to get things right

my fc will have 4-5 inches of perlite, + a large jar pumping air from outside the box though rocks, hydrogen peroxide and water. abiant humidity is about 50 right now

with a pump designed for a 10 gallon tank, how large of a fc can that support.

also, my home is kept around 80, so i may have to actually cool my fruiting chamber. any ideas?

and coffee in the substrate... just a spoon full will do it?

You don't need the pump. If you hydrate your perlite then you should be good for about a month.

Make sure the stones you are using are above the water level, so water can be splashed on them, for evaporation. If your house is at 80F, you can still fruit it (the temp inside will be about 82F). You can throw a few ice cubes on the perlite every so often to keep the temp down. The pump will be sufficient to provide adequate fae in your fc. Just ensure there are exhaust holes, and cover them with multipore or micropore (so flies don't get in).

I misunderstood. Your air pump setup is fine, considering you are already using perlite. Let me show you an image with the pump setup I'm referring to, however, when it comes to the additional evaporative effect.

It uses perlite in a cup of diluted H202.

I believe this is from a swedish cultivation forum.
