Hey guys, just wanted to post some pics of my casings from my first grow ever. I'm getting a decent pin set for my first time. I think. You can let me know what you think. I have a few side pins, but not many. I guess that's to be expected somewhat though. Anyway, I'll be putting some more up soon as they mature. I just got through (two nights ago) doing two more casings. They were done with five B+ brf/verm cakes that I crumbled and cased. The pics here are mostly wbs, but one of them is two more cakes that I crumbled. All of my casing material is MGMC, verm, hyd lime, and gypsum. Well, let me know what you think, if they look good, if I can do anything different/better....Thanks to all who have helped me along the way!!!
This is the one that I crumbled the two brf/verm cakes.
I experimented on this one, and mixed the wbs with verm and then cased.
These are all straight wbs cased with material from above. Was gonna use hpoo but it went bad on me...started growing stuff

Looks really good man.
About the hpoo though, chances are the growth you were see'ing was firefang, long white mycellium looking growth, it's a sign your hpoo is properlly composted and aged ready for use

Thanks for the compliments guys!!!
Yes, you are right. It did have some fire fang. But, it also had some little mushroom looking things growing. They were long and skinny but didn't really form any kind of head. Kinda hard to describe. Also, there was one little mushroom that started to grow. It almost looked like a little cube, but i'm pretty sure it wasn't. I've still got some hpoo that's on my balcony that still looks good. Just not sure if i have enough to do a monotub or not. Guess I could just use in the size casings i'm already doing. I'm going back home in a week or so, and will stop at one of our farms and get some more hpoo to use. That's pretty handy being able to get as much as I want whenever I want!
