you can get happy frog at hydroponic stores. You can also use coir as a good sub.

Hey HardwoodAl, I'm fruiting quite a bit of GT's and hardly any aborts. In fact I'm fruiting Mazatapec and B+ and the GT's are outdoing all the others BIGTIME.

Of all the post I have seen on here GT's is probably the best strain I have seen. I'm not sure of the potency though. B+ has really good potency.

Ive done B+ also and i disagree with the potency JMO. they also had alot of aborts. Ive done PESA. they were strong, but alot of aborts, but the fruits that matured were medium to large same with B+. The GT are definitely my favorite so far from the three strains ive done. it could be my growing tek, but ive done cakes and cased cakes with equal results from both and now im doing cased GT and have harvested 12 GT cakes recently with all great results.

it took me about a week to see pins on my cakes last week. I probably would have seen them a little sooner but I wasn't getting enough FAE. AS soon as I got that up, I started seeing pins like a day or two after. Mine were 1/2pt brf/verm.

Also, on my cakes that I crumbled and cased, I had to patch on day 3-4. Then i put into FC on like day five, and then about 4-5 days later I started seeing pins! One of my casings was the cakes (2) that I crumbled and I saw growth on those the fastest. My other four were wbs that I just straight cased and those are doing great too. I just did two more casings with a total of five cakes that I crumbled, and should be patching those on Monday night or so. I'll have some pics up later of my casings. Good luck

My BRF cakes took more then a week to show pins. little white knot like "wads" show first.
Cakes cased showed three days after intro in the FC.

I just crumbled up 2 of my GT brf cakes and put them in some coir/verm.

This is my first try at casing so hopefully it will work out. Also the cakes already flushed once.

HardwoodAl, so what you did to get those results was, case your brf cakes to happy frog soiless mix?

Did you add anything to it when you crumbled your cakes? Did you add anything once you started seeing pin heads?

thanks for any info

Its real simple. just take a 100% colonized cake,"preferably one that hasn't been fruited", and crumble it into a zip lock bag, into popcorn size pieces. Get a Tupperware thats microwavable and nuke 1/2" of verm thats been soaked and squeezed out well. microwave for 5 mins and let cool completely, overnight usually, thats to let the crumbled cake recolonize int eh zip lock bag, 15-24 hrs. pour crumbs into Tupperware and cover with aluminum foil. put into closet for another 24 hrs.
case with Happy frog in my method i did with a third of the thickness of the colonized substrate to happyfrog. which is 2/3 substrate-1/3 HF. leave covered in closet at 80 Fahrenheit. you will start see myc form on top patch until it get pretty uniform should be 5-7 days and then into the FC.

Oh yeah and SA (South Americans) seem to do well in high numbers without aborting

Although it does look like you have  your shit pretty much figured out :thumbup:

Hell yea light warrior would be it. i didnt think the Happy Frog had nutrients in it, so a non-nutritive potting soil would be choice.
Where those South Americans cased useing cakes also? very nice
