The first one is pretty interesting, I am not sure I have seen that before. Try taking a spore print on tinfoil, it would help to know exactly what color the spores are. I am going to assume they are white for now. I am really tempted to throw it in the Armillaria tablescens bucket, but I am not at all sure about that.

Check this page and let us know if it seems like a match.

The second one is probably Polyporus badius. http://www.mushroomexpert.com/polyporus_badius.html

I was wanting to lean toward Tricholoma here, but I don't think it quite matches.
If you want help with an id, more information is required. Are the gills free from the stem? (I can't tell, looks like they could be notched or broadly decurrent) Is the cap tacky? Is that oak it is growing on? Is the stem solid?

>Is anything active?

No.

I don't get it, you are pretty sure the one is Polyporus Badius but you want to know if it is active?

Do you mean me??

I know what polyporus is.
I'm wondering why if that's what he thinks he has why he is still asking if it is active.

The first mushroom looks like Hypsizygus tessulatus or H. ulmarius.
