Emotions
    #7470559 - 09/30/07 01:51 PM (16 years, 4 months ago)

We all have emotions, but to think about it, no one really knows if we have the same emotion for the same situations as others do.

We can only use verbal communication to exhange information of how we feel. Even then we don't know what we are feeling.

This is something we have each his own.

No one will ever know how you truly feel.

We can express emotions like love, hate but still we are only interpreting what they are sending. Through actions and the tone of your voice one can describe what one is expressing/saying.

Know what I mean?

Or better yet, know how i feel?

Peace,
Droz

The good news is that there are so much better methods of communication than words. Through which we can transmit so much more from what we actually feel. It also depends on how open we are, on how many fears we drop on our way, because the more honest we become, the more we are able to make solid and deep connections with the others, especially with the people we love. :heartpump:

And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs

Well put MushroomTrip.

Like feeling the love on a high dose of exctasy.

Now only if we could leave the drug behind and feel that same love in sober states.

It's all chemical.

Peace,
Droz

I wasn't really talking about drugs.
We can be open without using drugs too.
It is true that maybe, in some cases, drugs can open our minds some more but then we can reproduce the same warmth without using them.
Once we're convinced that everything comes from us, and that drugs are only a tool which can boost our confidence and honesty, we can become able to open up at our own Will. And it's the most wonderful thing. :sunny:

We can use things like CAT scans, PET scans, and MRIs to show that the same areas of the brain respond when people report feeling certain feelings, so unless everyone's brain is 'wired' radically differently, we know that the feelings are at least similar.

knowing how we feel is exactly right.

reliving memories with body feelings are emotions.

body feelings that are pleasurable
and
body feelings that are painful.

reliving memories
or having associations from events around you
with these specific body feelings are what emotions are about.

many experiences with body feelings are common enough that we can easily empathise.
(our bodies are like tuning forks that way)

some are complex and really difficult to communicate.
