I need a good small hound dog, under 35 lbs in adolescence. And smart too. Air tracking, not ground tracking.

personally I think the smaller dogs are much better for
culinary purposes.

the small lap dogs in the 12-20 lb range grill up very
quickly and have some very tender cuts in the rear legs
and along the back.

once the animal gets to be over about 25 pounds, there is
a certain toughness that only a good stewing will be able
to get through.

I'm partial to brining the meat and then roasting with fresh
herbs and garlic, but that's just me.

i find the pressure cooker works very well to soften meats and remove fats, espesially dog fat.

after that i like to throw it on the grill for flavor, the tail makes some good beef jerky. Its tough but nice and spicy.

as many times as ive eaten in dark chinatown stalls, i may have eaten dog, many ,many times. :boxerface:

Well, if you aren't eating them, I'd say check out Boston Terriers.

They are very smart and under 25lbs.
