What's up Everyone. Well I have another find that I just can't get an ID for. Anyone who thinks they know, please feel free to post.
Habitat - Westeren Pennsylvania. Growing all over this tree and on the ground. I don't know what kind of tree, but it's living.
Gills - Can't even tell. These things are stuck to the ground and tree, hard to lift up wihtout tearing it off. But the ends of it and bottom seem to be a tannish/white color, as you can see.
Stem - well, is there one? Again, these grow flat against the tree and ground.
Cap - Diameter is around 8-10 inches, Color is these bleeding red with a white rim around the ends the texture is rough and groovy. These mushrooms are huge, firm, and don't move for anything.
Other than that, this mushroom was found outside my school just a week ago. The temperature was actually around 60 degrees and then went up about 10 degrees within a day. I'm sure these grew right after it rained, and then it went down in temp. again. The only thing significant about these mushrooms is that they look they're pusing a red liquid and look infected.

It's a nice Ganoderma lucidum specimen growing on an oak tree. This mushroom has been used in China for centuries, where it is believed to have special properties such as longevity of life. We are now looking at it as a preventative for cancer and other illnesses: check it out here You may not be able to view all of those pages, you need to register if you are interested.

Found this one in Colorado. Looks similar, but I don't know. Smelled wonderfully strange. I think I know the smell but cant place it. Found mine under pine trees, by I think Beaver Creek near South Fork, Co. It didn't leave a print. It has tooth gills. And it was kind of sticky. Notice the blue on the stem.
