www.ronpaul20008.com

He's the only president in america that is not funded by evil lobbyists and all the other crap. Check out his site, and compare it to all other american candidates, their all IDENTICAL on the issues facing america EXCEPT for ron paul. He's being censoring extremely in our media and made fun of like everything he stands for is an absolute joke when in actuality its the only thing that keeps a countr toghether! All other candidates make cheap shots and just talk on and on about bullshit that we should not even be concerned with. Oh yes let's talk on and on about the war and NOT do anything! Ron paul will immediatly withdraw our troops and I HOPE issues an apology to all other countries that they had to face the wrath of a completely corrupt evil bush regime.

im voting for ron paul.

if he doesnt win, it's because our fellow americans like tyranny. simply put.

further more, blaming the media for not teaching the masses about the candidates is a joke. it's a joke because it just shows how american voters are too ignorant to do an hour or two of their own research before they vote. sad isnt it?

He's not the savior duster and others would have you believe, but at least he's outside the box on some of the issues. Four years of him might be good if he concentrates on getting us out of Iraq.

The thing that scares me about him is that he is a libertarian and libertarians are fucking retarded.

Ron Paul is a racist prick running for president, somehow having convinced many hippies and counter-culture types that he is something other than a racist and a Republican.

Ron Paul:

“Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action,”

“If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.”

“Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal,”

“We don’t think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That’s true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.”

Yeah.... Ron Paul is the answer. LO-fuckin-L

The African American community is overwhelmingly Democratic and pro-government interference.  Therefore, this statement of Ron's is quite accurate.

Black people can run fast.   Why do you think most professional athletes are black?

I disagree with that statement.  It's probably more like 35%.

To me in the right context that third quote is saying "The criminal justice system is full of 95% black people already."

I think he's poking fun at a system that seems rather racist, although if you look at statistics it makes sense.  DC is one of the most black populated cities in America, it's like 75-80% or was when I was in Government class in high school.  And considering a lot of the white people in DC are politically affiliated, it makes sense that the jails or justice system would see a 95% black populace

So I don't know if he's poking fun at them or trying to point that out, but either way I wouldn't take those quotes for much without seeing some context to them.

I actually like Ron's take on the whole race thing. He thinks that black people whine, bitch, and play the victim too much and that is what is causing the real seperatism and division between the races.

Though he thinks wellfare hurts them more then it helps them , and I agree, that is not his take.

His take is that lumping people into GROUPS, with special interests, is the cause of division in America. He believes we should be treated as individuals, with equal rights.

Thats why he says his platform of liberty, freedom and prosperity under the Constitution unites us all. It's something that serves us all, and that we all share in common.

Sure twist his racist words around to mean the opposite of what he is really saying.

He's not poking fun at anything. You wish he were because you Libertarians wish there was a viable Libertarian candidate who wasn't a racist prick.

If you want sources for those quotes you don't even have to get off your ass to get them. Use google, I don't have time to write a fully sourced and cited paper about this guy, like I even care.

Just pointing out the *fact* that Ron Paul thinks black people are inferior to white people.

If that's cool with you and you like to waste your vote on top of that, by all means do your thing.

Equal rights.... sure, like blacks and whites being subject to different kinds of trials and putting more blacks in prison..

I dont think Paul is racist, nor do I agree with everything he says. But quotes mean nothing without citing them. The only think remotely racist was a a writer for his newletter made some racist remarks in the early 90's. Paul took responsibility, but also said he hadn't read, nor condoned what was said.

Did anyone happen to watch the PBS debate the other night? I find most people who don't like a platform Paul has a limited understanding of the platform, or a misinterpretation or misquote of Pauls beliefs. The only thing Paul has going for him is his consistency, honesty, and belief in limited government and the constitution in my opinion.

The only thing Paul has going for him is his consistency, honesty, and belief in limited government and the constitution in my opinion.

Speaking of the PBS debate, which I am SURE blue dolphin did not watch, a neat thing happened. They honored a woman in the audience for being the first Black, female combat pilot, who has already served to tours of duty in Iraq.

After the debate, she walked up to meet Paul and has become one of his supporters.

Blue Dolphin, what words are you talking about? Ron Paul's voting record constantly shows, he is for individual equal rights for all under the constitution. Period. He actually says welfare is hurting ANYONE who is on it. The only time he even singles out blacks is when he is giving arrest and prison statistics for drug violations.

He says, it's not right that they are higher for blacks when the majority of Americas drug users are white. He wants to end the war on drugs all together.

Listen to this Paul story. A vote came up in the house years ago to give Rosa Parks a Medal for her civil rights achievements. Paul voted No. If thats all you hear, you'd think it was racist. No. He said, he didn't think Congress had authorization, to spend tax payer money on such things. THEN, he pulled a $50.00 out of his pocket and said, " I think she deserves one though and I think we should all chip in and pay for it ourselves if we want her to have it. NO ONE else offered to out of their own pocket.

He commented elsewhere that he applauded her for her civil disobedience when she wouldn't move to the back of the bus. He thought that was cool.

Blue dolphin, your misconceptions about Paul are simply ignorant. Have you bothered to research and read a paper he did years ago on Government sponsored racism in America? Black people have and he is gaining their support.

You bet I am voting for Paul. I vote for who I want to win, not who I think will. That mentality makes no sense at all and is why one corrupt leader after another keeps getting elected.

And this stuff here about not voting for him because he is a Republican is ridiculous. He is a Constitutionalists first, and next best known for being voted the tax payers best friend year after year by the National Tax Relief Organization.

Second, the GOP at large hates him, because he is against everything the neocons have been for ei- the war in Iraq, Foriegn interventionist policy, Big government, Big Spending, High taxes, Inflation tax, Regulated market etc. He even uses the term neocon when debating them, like its a filthy word. He is not like them. He holds to traditional conservative Republican values of non intervention, small government, low taxes.

Ron paul has a ten term congressional record of service to be research and is the author of many books. It's all there to be found.

he has never voted to raise taxes
Never voted for an unbalanced budget
Never voted to raise congressional salary
Never voted to increase the power of the excutive branch
Voted gainst the patirot Act
voted against invading Iraq since 1998
Voted against regulating the Internet
Has never taken a government paid junket
Does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program
Returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S, treasury every year.
Never taken special interst lobby money.
In Q2, he received more campaign donations from U.S. military personel then any other candidate. ( no doubt, that trend will carry into Q3 numbers to be released by the FEC Oct 15th)

Speaking of, if you are a Paul supporter, you have 3 hours left to get money in to show up in his Q3 numbers.

He is kicking ass for a "second tier" candidate. He raised over $1,100,000. just over the internet in the last week alone.

I don't think Ron will get the Republican nom, but I sure as hell know he will run as an independant. If this is the year the two party system is finally altered, I think this will be the beginning of a better America. Although I disagree with some of Ron's stances, such as his pro life stance on abortion, I think he will be a people's president. That's what we need right now.

His voting record is a fact anyone who does there research can confirm. Try watching some republican debates you guys. You'll see how much he disagrees with the policies of the neocons. His voting record proves it too.

I've watched all of his debates and all of his rally speaches, conversations with Greenspan and Bernake in Congress, and have read many of his Congressional papers on the issues. I'm a walking encylopedia on the guy now practically.

I support him now because I have researched him EXTENSIVELY for the last 5 months. I use to be a die hard green party voter and it took a lot of weight on Paul's end, and two months of research on him, to get me to switch to Republican in the election for him.

To the last poster here, Paul has said repeatedly that if he does not get the Republican nomination, he will NOT run as an Independent. He says, the two party system works against independents. He hopes his supporters will continue of with his message and get involved with getting elected into Political seats themselves.

Yeah.... Ron Paul is the answer. LO-fuckin-L

Blue Dophin is talking about a Libertarian newsletter Paul use to put out, from the early 90's.

When it was dug up as the only potential dirt on him in this election last spring, Paul said, that didn't sound like something he would say, and that when he was busy travelling, he use to have staffers right it for him. He thinks one of his staffers wrote it. Non the less, being the stand up guy he is, he took responcibility for it as if he wrote because his name is on the newsletter, and he APOLOGIZED with all sincerity for it. He thinks racism is ugly.

In the whole 72 year history of this man, there has been nothing else coming from him, that remotely hints at his being a racist, let alone his being for any sort of racist policy.

That issue was resolved many months ago.
