i just hooked up a wicking type cool mist to my martha,(can't find a Vick's anywhere used, and i really only need it for FAE) the humidifier did not come with the filter, which i wouldn't want to use anyways because they harbor contams. i already have an ultrasonic hooked up on a 1hr on 1hr off timer

so what i did was tape a gallon jug to the top of the cool mist above the large fan and loaded the milk jug with polyfil to filter the fresh air. that then runs into the same tube as my ultrasonic, and then that slopes upwards into the martha, so any excess water can drain into the ultrasonic. i have been running this way for about 3 hours now, and hygrometer still reads 90% humidity.

the martha is puffed up from the high amount of FAE.

does this sound sufficient? i had an idea to actually rig a HEPA type filter in place of the polyfill somehow?

You wanted an impeller type cool mist.

When I build my closet I'm going for a homemade humidifier.

Search agars posts. Fuck all that ultrasonic/cool mist afro-engineering BS.

All ya need is a bucket, hose/PVC, a good cage fan/air pump, and fish tank bubbler's. And of course a bit on ingenuity. And maybe some Epoxy. Perhaps a bong hit.
