loaded my jars right now have a question on lids

Okay all morning i have been straining and drying grains... well, i loaded my jars up and cut tyvek post office envelope the ones that say dupont tyvek... once i put lid then tyvek and screw ring on, then place aluminum foil am i good to go ???? or do i need to put micropore tape over the holes then tyvek?

this would be correct.
The foil isn't a functioning part of the jars, just a cover to keep excess water out during PC'ing.

okay i am gonna go with the micropore tape instead of tyvek.. but once i place a single piece of the pore tape over the hole do i tighten the lid all the way or do i have to leave it loose?

Lids always tight. You want the gas exchange going through your lid holes and filter, not around the edge of the lid where it doesn't get filtered. RR

okay good i tightened the lids and i used micropore tape over th two 1/4 holes i made... i am pcing right now it just started ... once my metal plug that is built into the pc pops i will turn the stove down till the rocker stops right???

Yup I made the mistake of not tightening lids on 3 0f 4 jars and sure enough those 3 jars contamed..
