What if you can't drop temp to start pinning?

So a friend incubated his casing at around 78degrees, which is room temp in his house. So how would he drop the temp 10 degrees to induce pinning? Is a drop in temp really necessary?

Lots of Fresh air exchange. Your temperatures are fine for fruiting. Dropping temps 10 degrees is recommended but will not be a make or break deal. It might take a few days longer for it to shift into fruiting mode, but lots of FAE will trigger fruiting mode.

If you're growing edibles such as most of the Agaricus species, a temperature drop is necessary or they won't pin. If you're growing a tropical species such as cubensis or pan cyan, they fruit in the summer anyway, so a temperature drop is not necessary. Cubes will fruit readily from about 60F to 95F. RR

hahahah what shady fucked up advice being given!
everything is so conflicting!
if you can't drop the temp consistently, a simple cold shock in the fridge overnight will help for cubensis ( I am going to go ahead and assume 99.999999% of posts are NOT agaricus growers, lol) Cubes will fruit at pretty much any temp... THEY DO HOWEVER, need a big big rush of fresh air pretty consistently throughout the day.
:P
peace.
