 Second teen accused of stealing $20K of pain killers caught

Two teens were arrested this week in the theft of $20,000 worth of painkillers from a Collier County pharmacy.
Jack Phillips, 15, and Schuyler Morris, 16, face charges in a Sept. 20 theft of Oxycontin, Oxycodone and Percocet at the Golden Gate Pharmacy, 11699 Collier Blvd. around 12:25 p.m.
Morris, 2620 68th Street S.W., was charged today with possessing a controlled substance, possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana, child abscond from supervision, unarmed burglary of an unoccupied business and grand theft.
Phillips, 3100 Areca Ave., No. 1, East Naples, was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary, grand theft, possessing opium or derivative with intent to sell and resisting a property recovery merchant.
Investigators say the two teens entered the pharmacy. One distracted the clerk and the second, later identified as Phillips, went into a back storage room and got into the store’s open safe. The store’s owner saw Phillips take the pills and chased Phillips out of the store and down the street, losing him in a nearby apartment complex.
Based on information received from the pharmacy, investigators spoke to Phillips on Tuesday at Naples High School. Phillips stole the pills and hid in a shed with another teen until deputies left the area, investigators’ reports stated. Phillips kept some of the pills and gave the rest to the other teen, the report said.
Deputies found empty pill bottles in Phillips’ home. One thousand forty-one doses of painkillers were stolen with an estimated value of $20,820, investigators say.
A 15-year-old Naples High School student was arrested Tuesday after authorities identified him as one of two teenagers who ran out of a local pharmacy with over $20,000 worth of pain killers.

Around 12:25 p.m. on Sept. 20, Phillips and another teenage boy entered the Golden Gate Pharmacy, 11699 Collier Blvd., the Collier County Sheriff’s Office reported. The unnamed teen distracted the clerk while Phillips went into a back storage room and opened the store’s safe.
The store’s owner saw Phillips and chased the teens out of the store and down the street, authorities said. The owner lost track of the teens in a nearby apartment complex.
On Tuesday investigators spoke with Phillips at Naples High School based on information they’d received from the pharmacy. They learned that Phillips stole the pills and hid in a shed with the other teen until deputies left the area, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Phillips kept some of the pills - Oxycontin, Oxycodone and Percocet - and gave the rest to the other teen. Deputies discovered empty pill bottles inside Phillips’ home, authorities said.
The other teen boy has been identified, the Sheriff’s Office said, and investigators are working to find him.
In total the teens stole 1,041 doses of painkillers with an estimated value of $20,820, investigators said.

Fucking kids today. Sickening shit, these little bastards running around stealing trailor park heroin to sell to all their little buddies.
Hell, I'm still two months away from being out of my teens fully, and this is enough to piss me off. Five years ago, kids didn't do this shit. What the hell is happening to American youths?

I get 80's for $15 dollars. I never pay more then $.50 per milligram and ussually never even pay that.

Remind me to move to Michigan, I used to pay 45-60$ for an 80 where I lived in Florida and thats on the low end of what it usually goes for around there. Now I'm in CO and I can't find shit
